I was just thinking if we are paying most of his wages, why not send him to NYCFC? If we are going to help any club let it be CFG club. They really need a good keeper, I suppose Patrick doesn't want to axe Saunders though, he needs to start being more ruthless this could be a big season for him the way it seems to be going over there.

I am pretty sure the whole reason he is going to Serie A is to improve himself... Has a good chance of doing that there than the MLS

Not sure where all these figures come from , apparently Joe earns £150k a week and we are paying £90k of his wages to play for Torino , the positives are we will save £60k a week , and he just might develop his passing game playing in Italy , come back next season and challenge Bravo for the goalkeepers jersey . We all know the media love to make mugs out of us ,but just maybe this could turn out well for the club and the player.

Are you one of them that makes sure your round lands on a Wetherspoon? This is without doubt the best outcome we could of asked for Torino seem like a good club joe deserves to play and it won't affect us. Not even Swiss tony could sell joe to a team abroad the one thing we have no right to complain about is money it's not ours.

Season finishes in October.

got a strange feeling we have not seen the last of him on the pitch playing for city, you never know Bravo may not settle and Torino may step him up a little

Joe Hart's agent to Tuttosport: "Yes, Joe Hart will play in Turin. It's done. The goalkeeper said yes and City have given the green light."

Done deal, take care and good luck joe

It's hard to say whether you're 9 years old or a he'll yeah American from that post. If you happen to be the former then please accept my apology for confusing you with the latter.

Glad this is sorted and we can move on, all the rumours were no good for the team or Joe! Nothing but best wishes on him joining his new team!

The structure of the league won't allow this. MLS teams have to pay the entire salary of a player on loan. With NYC having 3 designated players, there's no scenario they could take him anyway. MLS allows you to lower the salary cap hit of one player to bring them below the Designated Player barrier but that is being taken by Mix Diskerud (US National team player) and the player's salary needs to be around $1m at most whereas Joe's would be somewhere around $8.5m.

Best of luck Joe. In a way its good knowing you are technically still a City player, who knows what might happen (small hope).

A year sunning himself in Italy and then sort his long term future next summer. Decent solution. All the best Joe.

You should think about what you have just posted and withdraw it.
Though admittedly it was difficult to see the incident, from the 3rd tier of the Colin Bell stand, where I am situated,I understood that's what the OP, (who I presumed was in a much better position to do so) actually, saw, and was literally, offering an opinion, on that basis.

If I misinterpreted quaterman's post, or comments therein,in any way, then I certainly do apologise to him unreservedly.

Good luck Joe, hopefully he will return to the club next season.

But it doesn't sound right that Torino will only pay 50k out of the 140k !

Lombardo is assistant to Mancio's old mate Mihajhlivoc there, interesting.

Good luck Joe.
