Wasting your time with these self professed experts, man of the match performances in the CL against the very best teams when our other players fell short he didn't ever let us down he saved our bacon from a humiliating scorelines. Golden Gloves? They count for nothing they will tell you, even though up until the close of last season he had the most Golden gloves of any keeper playing in the prem, Cech is now level with him... they will then make the excuse our defense has always been impenetrable which is quite laughable.

Who needs tangible proof of his accomplishments and talent when you can cherry pick or skew a few statistics to support your views though hey? ;)
But some people thought he'd struggle to keep his place and that's how it's played out.

Yes he would have struggled to keep his place as I've said 2 posts before that(and it was the right decision IMO), that's not the point we were discussing though it's the reasons for this which are the talking point and will continue to be so it seems.

Ahh right. I suppose some do like circular arguments where until Hart comes out and says something they'll never be proved right or wrong.
I got bored of it about a week ago and nothing has changed.

Haha I will probably do the same not been looking as much recently but there's been movement so I couldn't resist.

I'm glad it's done and dusted. It's gone round in circles this.

If he had any remote chance of succeeding under Pep he would still be here.

He isn't, and that's because he didn't.

Anyone who believes that Pep wasn't dressing it up in those press conferences isn't very well schooled in the university of life because that is common sense.

He said similar things about Dante and then sold him a week later.

I hope it works out for him in Torino.

Anyone who believes Pep would say the opposite of what he thinks to please anyone else is not only not very well schooled in the university of life but has no common sense and knows nothing about the person Pep is which is key.

He was lying. Don't kid yourself that it was ever any different.
More spin to support your views when they've been dismantled by Pep himself sorry that is the only truth. You can have the last word now anyway because I've already seen every lame excuse from that train of thought you ride so blindly to avoid admitting you could be wrong.

Joe Hart has left.

That is the only truth that matters and certainly isn't spin to support my view. That is a cold hard fact.

I admire your persistence but your fighting for the minority.

If you ran a poll now it'd be 80/20 in favour of Pep bull shitting those conferences and Joe never standing a chance. That's speculative on my part but I'll bet I'm not far wrong.

I'll refer once more to Dante.

You don't publicly throw your players under the bus. It just isn't the done thing.

I'll leave it there and like I said I wish Joe all the best in what is a beautiful part of the world.

There's a SMALL vocal minority on bluemoon that's all, love how you were preaching about the university of life when you seem to base everything on your own small bubble. We can argue all day about this with no winner you can posture as much as you like it will get you nowhere I should tell you.

Simply more skewed statistics to support something you're trying to say... sorry you go on deluding yourself that everyone agrees with you... as you were fella. ;)

I've already said that any poll is speculative, because there hasn't been one.

It's conjecture and it certainly doesn't support my argument.

Like I said. Joe Hart has left. I'll say that again. He has left.

That is a fact you can't deny and supports my point of view emphatically.

If there was any possibility of him staying he would have. The club actively tried to push through a transfer and have agreed to pay the majority of his wages.

Why would they do that if there was any hope? Pep wanted him gone and to me and many, many others that is blindingly obvious.

That is why he no longer plays for this football club. Again. He doesn't play here anymore.

I respect your view fella but in my opinion that is case closed.

And your right mm we could go on forever debating this.

Best to agree to disagree and wish Joe all the best in Torino

Except it does not...

I refer to Ronaldinho, Deco, Ibrahimovic... do I need to go on(I can name more undeniably exceptional players he's shown the door or took issue with him on the playing time they received), it's about the system and the philosophy, it's not always(very rarely with high profile players in fact) whether they are good enough for the top flight or not, you may fail to grasp this very simple reasoning or deny it to save face it doesn't matter. I feel better about my position on it and what I have to back it up than yours anyway.

He has gone, Peps reasons for it will always be up for debate, even if Pep comes out and says it there will be excuses from either side in fairness, if he said it in a book years down the line: "oh he's just being nice there he wouldn't say the real reason".

I was just trying to get the point across that the reasons for it will always be up for debate and you can make very good cases for either side, like I have.

For the record I have no issue with Joe. He's served us well.

I'm actually out in Milan in 3 weeks time. Torino are at home to Roma and with 2 ex blues I'll certainly be having some of that.

I hope he's a success out there and that it's a platform for him to move to a bigger club in a years time.

Me too and yeah we should agree to disagree on this, I will make more of an effort not to even bother getting into the circular debate too now it's over with.

Hope you enjoy Milan for what it's worth seems like a great place.

It is mate. Similar climate to Manchester really it rains quite a bit. It'll be a home from home in that respect.

I've been into Italian football for a while now and get over there fairly regular. If you or anybody else ever fancies it I'd recommend it to anyone.

A few of us were out there last season with City when we played Juve. That was my first visit to Torino and it's a majestic city. A wonderful place to live. The locals are very much Torino fans and there is also a bit of a connection with City. They were very friendly and were certainly cheering for us and not Juve.

Whilst it's not ideal from his personal point of view I do think it's a very good move for him and his family in terms of lifestyle and culture etc, and with a club that will genuinely appreciate him.

"I followed him for a long time, so many miracles and occasionally has a lapse in concentration. It makes you win games by himself, if he plays as you know is one of the three best in the world, no way inferior to Neuer.hopefully only environments."

From Toro forums. I never classed him as good as Neuer, a close bracket behind at his utmost best (few years ago now consistently) but nice to see other fans do actually rate him and the above summarises what I felt about his ability and value (except for levelling Neuer and whatever that is about environments) - refreshing change from Engurland tits slating him.

They also picked up on him not smiling and even looking depressed from the videos/pics ha

I was early inside for the game and caught the keepers training, personally Hart didn't seem that happy to leave the club and rightly so as he has been very committed to the project. He dint kick a fuss but did fire one or two hard kicks to the crowd. He knows that we are onto creating something big and the thought of suddenly not participating in what has been his cause for years will devastate him no doubt. Just hope he understands that he's still young for a goalkeeper and that there is a likely chance for him to return in a few years time preferably during his prime.

I don't think we have seen the best of Joe Hart. Like the movie Whiplash, maybe some tough love will turn him into the next Trautmann legend.

Coz they appreciated what he had done here previously.
