I would like to pick him up with my bare hands and throw him down a lift shaft.

That is all.

To be fair to the lad, he's obviously got something wrong with him... and not just the obvious!
He's also not as annoying as that Flyingpig prick – proper armchair wanker, blogging from his bedroom at his mum's, who couldn't find the Swamp on a map, let alone ever visisted the fucking place!

Anyone who uses the M word is annoying and have got something wrong with them.

£260m is the net debt, which translates as total debt less available cash or cash equivalents. They had £230k of cash in the bank at their year end so that's taken into account when calculating the net debt.

That's like saying you've got a mortgage of £100k but on Monday you have £20k in the bank and in ISA's. So your net debt is £80k at that point as you could in theory pay £20k off your mortgage. But on Wednesday you could blow that £20k on a new car so your net debt is then up to £100k.

Further down the pack there's a balance sheet and that has the actual borrowings under Current & Long Term Liabilities. I thought I'd read that they'd paid off some debt and set up some big overdraft facilities instead but Andy Green (who is financial blogger Andersred and has done some phenomenonal stuff on the Glazers' corporate finances) has told me that there are two loans, both denominated in dollars. So they have to convert those to their £ equivalent at the year end.

As their accounts are reported at 30th June, the exchange rate conversion would have been done just after the Brexit vote, meaning the sterling value of the debt has increased significantly. Had their accounting date been the same as ours, which is 31st May, those loans would have been shown at a much lower figure.

Cheers.

Couldnt give two shits about their profits. Boyzone made a profit at one time and they were shit and full of cunts too, look at them now

No shots on target? Where was Bravo standing for their disallowed goal as he had the original shot covered? It looked on target to me.
Think we had about six or seven during the second half with two or three on target. KDB's against the post was a brilliant move.
Doesn't count as a shot. As soon as it leaves his foot it's a free kick.

I like that analogy. A plastic, manufactured product existing solely to appeal to more-money-than-sense followers of a trend. Adored by volumes of people who know fuck all and universally derided by those who DO know a bit.

£490m is the total debt they have, the £260.9m figure is the debt less any cash balances they have. So they have(had) £229.1m cash. You need to take note of the balance sheet date, PB suggests its the end of June (Havent looked myself) which will be after some season ticket money has come in and before any transfer fees out so you could argue it would drop from that point but in reality there so much diverse income now that season tickets are not as big a deal. The transfers would have put a dent in that cash though.
Cheers, that's simple enough.

Zlatan "My relationship with Paul is easy: I speak, he listens"

Sounds like a wonderful relationship Zlatan.

Very insightful young man.
How can he get so much right and yet so much wrong?

Fellaini, the Belgian Andy Carroll. Lol.
Rooney, not his biggest fan is he.

The "upper leg" calf must be sore today.

Not sure he likes its though.

If he's called Carrick4United, he used to post on F365. He's also been Carrick4England.

It's nice that we are a society that allows such forthright and insightful views to be aired.
The bellend's on twitter as carrick4united,just in case someone wanted to make his acquaintance.

Depends if the lino gave it for Twatan interfering with play or for him touching it. Either way it doesn't matter; I'm more bothered that we probably came closer than they did on several occasions during the second half yet received little praise.

I think I understand where the rags are coming from after a few days reflection: They could have got a draw, and might even have won it had they got the pen and Bravo been sent off.
Just think about that: As that's how close they were to a point; a refereeing decision, and we have to admit they usually get those.
How many times over have they picked up one, two or three points more than they deserve over the past fifteen years due to a fluke, a defensive error, a fuck up by the opposition (as we supplied on Saturday) or a dodgy decision? Or goals scored by players who should have been off - a bit like Chelsea with that clown Costa.
We all see scrawpy wins as being part of football, but they've seen so many they don't even care that City were so much better (they'll even admit it); they just yearn for the dodgy decision and the flukey scuffed shot to gather the points. It's almost as though they now expect it by default.
Moyes was sacked because they were shite. The Turtle was sacked because they missed the top four; the style of football didn't enter into it. Maureen will be safe if they continue to scrape last minute wins against the likes of mighty Hull, and that's what makes them serious contenders: They expect the opposition to fuck up and they take advantage.
Quality means nothing to these clowns; only the results count. But if they have a few more poor results ie if Spuds, Arse, Dippers and Chavs turn them over, then even their slow-witted fans might start asking questions.
