Agreed. He was always going to miss the next 3 domestic games. It has worked out pretty well in that he has had a nice easy run at the start of the season although has played the CL game and has opened his goal scoring accounts in both PL and CL. The LC is the least important comp so I’m happy for him to watch this one and let Nacho have another 90 mins which is doing him the world of good.
 
Great news if Brahim is included in the squad, which looks increasingly likely.
 
Really looking forward to seeing if Brahim gets any game time, just to get a measure of how far off the level he is. Looks like it might be quite a youthful side tomorrow, hopefully with quite a few first teamers for balance.

Pep just cited seluk's comments post CL squad announcement as the reason. Knew that was career suicide under pep.
 
Pep reveals that Yaya Touré will NOT play against Swansea tomorrow, contrary to reports. Kompany has a chance. Brahim is in the squad.
 
It really is a breath of fresh air to see Pep deal with Seluk. For so long the snarky, disrespectful comments have been swept under the carpet due to Yaya's importance to the team. Now Pep is in a position where he can dictate to Yaya. It's great.

I can't say I am surprised. The fact he missed 3 days training with a migraine wouldn't have impressed Pep.
 
Pep says it was difficult to leave Yaya out of the Champions League squad, but did after his agent spoke out. Wants an apology to the club.
Pep made it clear - Yaya Touré will not play again for City until the club receives an apology. [@StuBrennanMEN]
