It'd be nice that wouldn't it. He won't though, he'll cling on desperately as somebody he's paid a lot of money to makes a statement on his behalf offering a flimsy explanation. He's always been a dodgy fucker.

He'll stick to that job like shit on a blanket. Hopefully the pressure will prove too much and the FA sack the greedy bent word removed.

Agreed.

His position is untenable.

Critising your bosses is never clever. But again, he hasn't said anything wrong really. The thing about third party ownership is the only thing and all he has said is "there's ways round it" which there is obviously . If he went on to say how he did it with Valencia and that was dodgy then yeah he's bang to rights. No love at all for Fat Sam and his England tenure looks untenable as you say but there is nothing that he could be charged for without further clarification.

We remember panorama doc shopping him and GPC many years ago that's got brushed under the carpet.

He couldn't help himself - he got a whiff of a few quid and started singing like a canary - there might not be too much illegal about it, but he's England manager, he should be a million miles away form things like this

I bet he's flinging writs around in the morning or refusing to talk to the media.

Let's see how the FA react in the morning.

There isn't much in the initial article to get worked up about - apart from the England manager touting himself around like a not-so-cheap hooker - but I suspect the Telegraph are using that as a sweetener for juicier future articles on corrupt practices in the game.

My dad bought me this sewer rat's book for my birthday last week.

Time to go foreign again and get Klopp? The Scousers don't need him , do they?

I agree. But what he said that you disagree with?

As a highly paid professional, he should not be slagging off previous managers/coaches and should certainly not be telling any Tom, Dick or Harry that there is 'ways round' rules that his employers are supposed to enforce

There would be mass suicides in Scandinavia if that happened.

That's a mistake not controversial.
Well your question was "what's he said that you disagree with?' And that's my answer.

I guess I just have higher expectations from somebody who's the national team manager. Tbf history should have taught me by now that that's a silly stance to take.

But there are ways round third party ownership. We have bought players who were under that arrangement. Without any meat on the bones he can easily worm his way out of that. Indeed he's wormed he way out of more telling evidence in the past.
