we played brilliantly apart from those two missed penalties. Play like that and you win most of the games. not worried at all.....

Watch the media give Everton a pat on the back for that anti-football display, no one should want to see a team setting out to play that way.

Penalty training everyday for everybody. Missing two penalties is unacceptable. Especially if you consider our style of play, we will be awarded tons of penalties this season. At least one of two has to be a goal.

So you're suggesting we should be succesful with 50% of penalties! Rubbish, 9 out of 10 pens should go in (90%).

Aguero should not have taken the second today, he missed a pen for Argentina in midweek and got stick for that. KdB should have had another go to atone for the first miss.

I hope these two lost points don't come back to haunt us in May.

No sugarcoating that.2 points dropped. Terribly wasteful from the spot. Reality setting in. Same problems as last year and so far no answers. Gundogan really disappointing so far. Thought he took the soft option far to often. Ie pass it backwards or sideways. Needs to be braver on the ball.
Gundogan really disappointing? Give your head a wobble. Agree with your first two points, although they are a bit obvious.

This isn't fucking FIFA or football manager or whatever fucking shite computer game is flavour of the month....it's real fucking football and in real football not everything goes your way....some need to get a grip and look at the game objectively if that's possible (for some I know it isn't but that's there problem)...9 times out of 10 we win that game...today was the one time we didn't get over it

thought sane was good,
three at the back worked well, would like to see it against barca than zaba v neymar
shame missing two penalties.

onwards and upwards

I am not sure any of the CBs would have done better in that situation given it was a one-on-one and Clichy—the quickest among them—was beaten for pace. You cannot go to ground in that situation, as any of those you mention would be predisposed to do, as it is basically taking a 75% chance of being beaten or sent off for a bad last man challenge.

I think the only one that should really be looked at for that goal is Otamendi. He has to stop being so aggressive and going to ground when being pulled into midfield. He is going to the casino each time he does it: yes, he'll win the ball in spectacular fashion every now and then, but more often than not he is either going to get beaten or concede a foul. On balance he is going to cause more problems than he solves.

clichy was afraid to get close to him whereas the others mentioned would have done....not blaming clichy for that as if he had got close he would have just lost out anyway,

the real problem came from the defender who dived in near the half way line -was that Ottomendi? He did it so much last year with similar results and Pep has also mentioned this publicly once already...if he keeps doing it he won't remain in the team as Pep won't like it

I think the last two games have indicated that we aren't as good as we think we are. All that possession and hardly a chance created. Not good.
Well against Barca we should see different approach at least. Because we will probably have 30-40 possession there. Though we have to be extra clinical if we are to get something.

Everyone is slating De Bruyne and Aguero for missing the penalties. No one is giving credit to Everton's Goalkeeper. He was in top form today and we were unlucky with the Penalties. The point is better than none and I think 3 at the back will work for us with time.

- Sane was great and with time he will get better. Sterling was Superb on the right
- Nacho was also really good and connected as well as he good
- De Bruyne is coming back from Injury so I expected him not to be on top form. He wasn't up to scratch. And the penalty miss just completely made him lose focus. Silva or Gundogan should have taken the first Penalty cause they are both on form
- Ferna and Gundogan were also great.
- Bravo could have done nothing for Lukaku's goal, Clichy should have closed him up
- Nolito has been missed and will be great having him back for the games upcoming
- Aguero is not mentally inform due to what happened with Paraguay and the Arga press so also he should NOT have taken the Penalty. But again I credit the keeper who did great.
- Kompany seems on the way to be molded into a central midfield position!!

Today was a game of bad luck and Everton parking the bus. I really wanted us to win after all this possession but a point is still very good. Tottenham nearly lost at West Brom. We are still top by goal difference unless Liverpool score 3 against Man United!

Everyone who thought we are just going to walkthrough the park and win every game got a wake up call today. But I truly believe I am seeing the beginning of great things to come! Sane, Sterling, Nacho, Stones.... New young blood will transform us with time. All we need is the young fullbacks to join ranks now!

On to Barca. I will take a draw there as well :)

We all know we should have won today, but sometimes things like this happen at the end of the day a draw is better than nothing,my only concern is the amount of pens we are missing is racking up,like today could cost us hopefully pep takes time out to have the players take pens,as it could start to effect other players i.e. Not wanting to step up to take them in games..

Are you a rag who's just joined to post this? What UTTER nonsense.
I've been supporting City since the sixties, what I would like to say to you I'd get banned face to face I'd be arrested so the worst thing I can say is,You fuckin rag in my time there would only be one answer to that.
