City v Everton post match

To be fair, on another day we could have won the game by a three or four goal margin.

Everton's keeper won't have performed better than that too many times during his career. He was unbelievably good today.

Was beaten, etc.

Explained at the end of my post: Pep's tactic clearly didn't worked, while opponents almost extract maximum given their lower skills and abilities.

It's a coach who didn't win this game. Can't blame players. They did what they told. It's simply didn't work.
Go back to redcafe, your attempts are laughable. Nothing you are saying even makes sense. Overplayed when we should have won by two or theee goals if not for poor penalties/good goalkeeping (which has absolutely nothing to do with tactics)? Put down the bottle, stop acting like a child, and go home.

Beginning to mirror last season after winning start and then losing at Spurs followed by problems with finding the net.
However we have Pep this season and I think the corner will be turned pretty quickly. Still think we are short of another quality striker.

Have to say really not waiting for the games against Pool and Arsenal. They have the ability to press us which we really dont like Wenger already beat us recents seasons by sitting back and press/counter us for whole game and actually they ended up with more scoring chances as we were toothless. Of course that was Pellegrini's team...

While Liverpool have so much energy, intensity and also pace that can cause some big problems especially if we want to play this tiki-taka.

Would you mind explaining how you can press and sit back at the same time?

Yes, I was just about to post this. Nearly all of the "ridiculous" reaction posts seem to be from users with a very short and suspect history.

Most of us understand these dropped points where down to poor finishing and we'll hopefully address that moving forward.

One with nearly 70k posts is acting the mard arse as usual when things don't go right. So not all rags.

Fantastic match. Olive oil missed red card assault on Sterling and pk on sane.
In Pep we trust. Onward and up ward.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola: "We did everything and I am so proud of that team. We played amazing. We created chances, had two penalties. They had one chance. In football it is like this. Big compliment to Everton about the way they defend and their performance

"I am sad for the players because they deserve to win the game. We have to keep our heads up because from the beginning of the season we have done so well. Football is football. This happens sometimes."

Played well today, just one of those days. Annoying and my evening won't be as enjoyable

See I don't think this is even close to mirroring last season! Yes we were soundly beaten by Spurs, no excuses from me on that, but today we should have won against a good side! This is nothing like last season, nothing!!!
