Not bad - bit frustrating. Looking forward to seeing vinnie back and Jesus in January. We will be there or there abouts. Atmosphere was a bit flat today - not sure why.

Everton fans quiet too. i suppose thousands getting in 15 mins late due to another fuck up by the club doesn't put people in the best of moods to start with.

Some of the football we played was fantastic, on another day that would be a mauling, if the penalties had gone in we would all be wanking over the performance.
More positives than negatives, loved starting with two out and out young wingers with pace, the future is very bright.

Dominant performance without the final pass/touch. Obviously, you simply cannot fathom missing two penalties from two world class players, but that's why you have to take the kick...it is not automatic! That said, that kind of performance beats 95% of Premier League teams 95% of the time, just not this team today. We move on.

Not expecting anything at all from the Barca game. Players look like they need a break, and we are stretching players to the maximum. Hard to believe KDB played 90 mins today, or that Aguero didn't start if he was fit. Good to see Vinny back on the field. Honestly believe that Komoany and Stones would be a ridiculously strong central pairing. Otamendi does a solid job, but his footwork is not brilliant and he is STILL DIVING IN to too many challenges. That said, no idea why Stones is overcommiting in their half on their break for the goal. Not many people will beat Coichy for pace, but he allowed himself to be pushed back onto the back foot and then Lukaku took advantage to his left, which was the only way he could go.

Liked seeing a back three, knowing they would be going with 1 upfront, and it looked like a master stroke beasts on the dominance on display. Sadly, we couldn't capitalize on ththeat dominance.

Would like to see us hit more shots from the edge of the box. Even if you don't score, you get nicks, corners, create buzz and excitement by getting the other team on thto back foot and forcing them to come out and defend the shot. THEN, later in th game, maybe you have the holes to attack because th defense has to step out. Right now, EVERYONE knows that we want to score the perfect goal, with three or four passes for a tap in.

Best shot of the game almost won it. That KDB shot should be on a loop to show people how to shoot a snap shot and illustrate what a quality player he is. UFB shot and it took an UFB save to keep it out.

MORE IMPORTANTLY...

If we can keep the Top 16 players fit, and rotate a few in and out (60 mins here, 30 mins there for the players who are killing it in the work stats) AND bring a few younger players on, then this squad will gel, it will get world class additions to slot in where needed and in six months, a year, two years, or three, there are no limitations on where this club can go.

I'm disappointed with the result, but ecstatic that in two months we have shown we can compete with the best teams in the world, and the future is BLUE!

It's our lack of utter invincibility that's slightly worrisome. We literally drew that game, when we could have won or lost it. Fact.

Great performance generally shame about the result but if you miss 2 penalties.......
Good first half from Sane, and some of the link up play was amazing.
On another note many of you got your wish - no Kolarov and Clichy back in - didn't see much of his fabled 'pace' when Lukaku dropped his shoulder and left him for dead?

Sane had a good first half, De Bruyne also played very well considering it was his first game back from injury. Sterling better when moved to the right.

However, the football we played was too intricate, too precise and too predictable at times. Sometimes we just need to shoot or whip the ball in. Needed more width down the left hand side.

Everton more defensive than expected but to be fair they did it very well.

With good intentions ..........

I thought that was one of the better overall City performance we've had against us in a while, but at the same time I thought Everton were very poor, and I find little satisfaction in watching my team constantly give the ball away, and offer very little in attack, which allowed City to dominate us. Everton have been below standard for 2 seasons, and although we're defending valiantly, once again we fell foul to a cross, which has been our Achilles Heel for such a long time.

Koeman's style of football appears to be a strong defensive attitude with long balls up to a front 3, and it's not to my own liking, but he needs time. Certainly I didn't see the inspired performance I'd anticipated, and dropping Barkley and Mirallas meant we didn't have the counter attack I was expecting. We're miles behind the side that Moyes left us in terms of teamwork.

If I were to be critical of City, it's that they try to play the ball into the net, and possibly over-complicate things, but that seems to be the modern way to play, like it or not. I liked the look of Leroy Sané. Your defending was decent, despite Lukaku tearing it a new one, but that was the only thing he did all game really, and he only came to life in the final 3rd. You're a talented side for sure, but a bit predictable in attack, and maybe you need to shoot a bit more and trust to luck.

You can't read too much into the penalties, but you'd expect City to score them and our Keeper did well. Again, City were by far the better team, but Everton are turning into Stoke or Crystal Palace, and our fans are far too acceptant of what is in my eyes a very average squad. I expected City to control possession, and they did, but as much as I was impressed by most of what City offered I was disappointed with Everton, so a point under the circumstances is a bargain.

All the best.

They are both as shit as each other. Only one of our full backs is anywhere near the required level and he is 34 in Feb.

If you can't enjoy some of the stuff on show today, then football isn't really for you.

We don't have a divine right to win every game.

Having seen what I've seen at the Etihad and Maine Road, I'm just going to enjoy what's on show and thank my lucky stars.

If that's not good enough for some then, a long hard look at yourself is needed.

Playing fantastic football , that was a travesty today and Koeman admitted it, never even heard a peep out of there fans apart from there goal.

Kelechis second touch is a header , he won't make it in this team playing the lone striker.

Sane really impressed me today especially winning the ball back when he lost it.

We are a very very good team.
