The crown estates profits

The Crown estates as you say, should not be owned by the crown . It should be either free land or owned by the government to be used as revenue for the country.

We can find money for this as it's coming from the Crown Estate only paying 75% of its profits to HMRC for ten years as opposed to the usual 85%.

This may have been mentioned somewhere earlier in this thread.

You should feel more ashamed that you quite obviously haven't read up on the subject.

85% of its profits are used thus.

For ten years it will be 75%.
 
I have been a republican since serving in the Army. You would get some privileged Rupert, who would be absolutely useless at his job, put in charge of a professional group of men. It makes you think.

I was an NCO, You stay an NCO until your about to retire, when they sometimes pomote you to a captain with no responsibilities. I had no issues with NCO's they run the army and are respected by all.

Except for a teeny weeny flaw in your argument.
The Crown Estate profits are paid to the EXCHEQUER. This was agreed by George III to relieve him of the cost of his debts and of running parts of the Government.
The Crown Estate pays 15% of these profits to the Sovereign as a Grant.
" The Grant is to enable the Queen to discharge her duties as head of State............It will also cover of maintenance of the Royal Palaces......." ( see Wiki ).
So it is up to the Monarch to meet the costs of the Buckingham Palace repairs from the grant i.e.from the 15%.
NOT to go go cap in hand to the Exchequer and ask for more money from the Crown Estate profits.
