Refs ar'n't intimidated anymore at the swamp. It's outrageous to expect the rags to have to play on a level playing field. I expect the Premier League will sort this out pretty soon and get them a replacement for Red Howard.

I've seen some rags blame the Europa League for their failure. Imo thats fair for teams like Southampton, teams that doesn't have big squad depth but that doesn't apply to teams like United and maybe Tottenham. For example we had a shorter rest this weekend than United had (and the same amount of rest when we trashed Bournemouth and they lost to Watford). So when big clubs are in the EL I think the fans and the media overreact how difficult it is (compared to the CL for an example). Especially because you should be able to rotate your squad on Thursdays, something almost every club does apart from United.
