Anthony Taylor appointed ref for Chelsea

If football is bent and results are predetermined why do you bother watching it? Why aren't you rich from betting on us getting beat every week? Why don't we get beat every week?
I can't honestly believe you are asking that question....so I'll spell it out as simple as possible for you...
the referee and linesmen can only affect a result if we don't click, we didn't click today and the referees bent performance helped Chelsea achieve the win....you only have to hear how deafening the silence from SKY , BT ETC is to realise the game today wasn't right....no one is saying every game is bent but after seeing today's refereeing performance one can only draw one conclusion from it....

That was the worst officiating I've ever seen.
We only scored because it was an OG so even that **** would've been hard pushed to disallow it.
I've read a bit of this thread (so this may be here somewhere) but one thing I haven't seen mentioned is when KDB hit the bar. They showed a replay on the big screens, presumably because it wasn't viewed as contentious - he was a yard onside but the linesman's flag was up.
Corrupt. Todays officiating needs investigating properly.

Hah, go on, explain how this is deluded? Tell me all about The Agenda and how it's always fucking City - and only ever City - over.

You dont really want it explaining do you as you have made up your mind.

Always City you say? Yep, it is for the vast majority of us given we are City fans who have to watch us constantly being fucked over by bent, cheating and corrupt officials.

I expect the usual FArce and PiGMOL approach and Taylor to be pulled for the next game he's supposed to ref.
What you saw today is exactly the reason why we don't actually have it.

They wouldn't be able to get away with it if they brought it in.

Too right they wouldn't. The fuckin' game would be up for them. Not a single ounce of rancour, petulance, or McEnroe tantrums to be found in Rugby, Cricket or Tennis these days. Yer want to contest the decision? Well, let's see what Hawkeye has to say! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee - OUT! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee IN! Get on with the game.

Just why doesn't football do that? Well, we wouldn't have such an abysmal, abject and inept performance from an official such as the one that was shoved onto the paying public today. But the more I watch City these days the more I am convinced that delaying or avoiding the use of instant replays is exactly what the governing bodies and footballing institutions want. It plays into their hands. Aquero elbows someone and it rolls around Sky three times an hour until those cnuts at The FArce lay out a charge. City player gets chopped inside the area and it's ne'er seeing the light of day again!

Was it though? I've got a poor recollection of it with all that happened, but I recalled the throw was towards their goal and the throw in taker was behind the ball.

I honestly thought he played the ball backwards, even square, which would have meant he was on side. I was bewildered.

Taylor stopping the play every time (apart from the last, and 6th time, a Chelsea player went down feigning injury but playing on for us. I thought they were punishing feigning injury!?

Not booking Willian for a blatant dive!?

Gundogan penalty!?

Numerous handballs not given around the pitch but one of our players has a clearance blasted against his arm and it's a free kick.

The ball leaving play by at least a foot after we scored and the linesman looking right at it, doesn't give it.

Not sending off their bell end who pushed over Aguero after his horrendous tackle. And of course the Fabregas slap didn't happen and he threw himself over the fucking hoardings the ****.

Otamendi'a yellow card.. LOL.

Luiz deliberately obstructing Aguero when through at goal and nothing given. Taylor put the fucking whistle in his gob, hand in his pocket. Half the players stopped and Luiz was already pleading to stay on the pitch but he needed any excuse not to give it, and he found it with his inept buddy running the line.

He did nothing to prevent their time wasting, failed to control the match and should be off the list next weekend for that.

He fucking loved the booing, the rag ****.

0 surprise here from me, never celebrated our goal as I was expecting it to be disallowed again, total shower of cheating ****s.

Sky have fucked us over so many times it's unreal with there constant highlights of things our players have supposed to have done, ever since we were taken over, Adebyour on Van Persie...Aguero on Reid....Ballotelli on a Liverpool player (can't remember who) to name a few I'm sure there's more, these incidents were on constant loop on SSN until our players were charged

These kind of examples just show the power and influence the likes of Sky and BT have on our game and The Premier League....so for me it isn't inconceivable for them to have influence over certain match officials even if it's subliminal

I don't doubt this twat was bent today, it was too obvious in so many ways, and I don't think we'd actually have won had we been on our very top game, as a way would have been found.

However, this should not deflect from a pretty awful performance from our manager (picking the wrong side, with players in roles they shouldn't be used in, compounded by some utterly bizarre subs), and some of our players being shit houses when it gets a bit tough (the football - not the battle - and its no good becoming all brave and hard in the 97th minute), so I agree totally on the bent official(s), but other things are also quite wrong with the team, and this should not be forgotten in the after match appraisal.

Bang on.

No agenda , referees make mistakes and teams lose games directly due to these mistakes the fact this has to be explained is concerning , you have heard of "the hand of god" (probably the most infamous example). Give you a bit of friendly advice look at the responses to your post , you've got to know when to stop digging and move on.

What I can't understand is how Taylor got the match today. Once upon a time yer got a ref who was from miles, hundreds of miles away. Wonder why Conte didn't come out and raise the odd concern that a 'local' ref had got the game?
This is quite baffling.
At a time when the governing bodies of the game are under scrutiny for corruption and sleaze, I would assume that they would be keen not only to be squeaky clean , but should also want to be seen as squeaky clean.
When there are referees from all parts of the country , why oh why appoint a ref from the same geographical area. It can only cause speculation about motivation , especially when he performs like he did today.
Incompetence at best......

It's not been mentioned much because of all that happened after but there was an attack on the Colin Bell side at the end of the first half where the ball looked like it went 2-3 feet out of play but the linesman never put his flag up.

Haha not celebrating a goal because you're so paranoid. Post of the day

Sorry to everyone else, this guy wins most paranoid fan of the day, although I think today has been the most fiercely contested for a while.

Peace and love, until the next shit ref. x
