doesnt say which cruciate ligament. Does that matter as far as recovery time and recovery ability?
Assume it's ACL as PCL can be treated by bracing and not surgery.doesnt say which cruciate ligament. Does that matter as far as recovery time and recovery ability?
Yeah, I didn't think it was a foul at the time either. Just saw some people on here saying it was a bad challenge.
Is the correct answer. And so you should, could you not put someone from another club in?!
Outraged of Exeter. I thought it was risible? Which is worse? Some of the nonsense on here was downright embarrassing
?? he didnt do anything wrong did he?Wonder how many games Amrabat will be banned. Coward.

It definitely wasn't intentional as far as injuring him is concerned, but he had no chance at all to actually get to the ball before Gundogan after losing it and simply clattered into him to stop City's chance of an attack. It was innocuous but certainly 100% avoidable.Yeah, I didn't think it was a foul at the time either. Just saw some people on here saying it was a bad challenge.
We've had enough twists for one week in midfield.Shit news at a shit time, and I feel very very sorry for Gundogan, especially after his last injury.
What do we do now, stick or twist with the midfield?.

Nope. May as well sell Garcia now if we're going to buy. Sané can play in the advanced roles or Garcia can cover the pivot role.Very very true, and there was no pun intended in my post.
Got to buy surely.
I've spoken to a sports rehabilitator who tells me that when Gundogan dislocated his knee cap the chances are it will have brought the ACL forward, making it far more susceptible to an impact injury. They've also told me that if it's a complete rupture the treatment will be a graft taken from the hamstring, which then may lead to a weakened hamstring and problems in the future
Here's a video of some pioneering ACL treatment. However I doubt that at the moment a club would risk a multi million pound investment with the new treatment

Do you think a random bloke on the internet knows more than our state of the art medical team and the money men who have invested millions into him,he has been unlucky that's allCheers for the info mate....I now understand why many questioned signing him while injured with a dislocated knee cap, not just because of the injury itself but for the reasons you mentioned....clearly the weakness was there and the chances of new injuries to the same knee were high. I hope he comes back stronger than ever as a lot of respect for him since he joined in the summer but the questions over his fitness at the time of signing will be even stronger now and to count on him being 100% for pre-season training would be another big risk we cant afford to take. Doing nothing to replace him (and the fullback/CB positions) could push us back even further in the squads development. Clearly Pep needs more to work with, to allow his system to work, not less....
cheers for the post, found it really interesting...
