They've gone to Pep's brother's team, if you can't figure it out then maybe go lie down for a year or so. Hardly being done for the betterment of the players, is it.

Couldn't disagree more. No way West Ham are going to take two young City FBs and play them. One slight mistake and West Ham's fans will be totally on their back with stuff like 'why are we playing two of City's young Spanish kids just to serve their benefit?". They'd be dropped after one misplaced pass. Premiership loans are risky as fuck, likewise Championship ones. West Ham aren't going to drop one of their players of the season last year (Creswell) to give Angelino game time.
 
We now have eight first team defenders, one of which is constantly injured, one is 18, and four others are over 30. I'd be amazed if we didn't have a plan to bring someone in in January, unless we made the bizarre decision to recall Mangala or piss of Sunderland and bring Denayer back. This for me is close to confirmation that we're doing business and are optimistic about our chances.

If the player is better, I'd say they would. And who said we'd send both? We could easily have sent one.

Maybe we have enough influence at Girona to get some kind of guarantee of regular football which is what they need. All very well saying loan them to West Ham or wherever, if they dont get games its no use to anyone at this stage of their development.

From what I've seen I don't think Angeliño will ever be first choice for us, not that impressed with him.

Maffeo has been different gravy at youth level, played really well at Old Scaffold but not at Zaba or Sanga's level
 
I find it funny that when a player goes to a team that isn't championship level, the team has to be shit or the league etc.

That would be fair enough had Maffeo not already been there and shown vast improvement this year already.

This isn't a step forward for the lad. If we just aren't going to use him, send him to a decent team.
