I would suggest that if he was genuinely ill then Eyre and Dearden would have been saying get well soon Ian. Also Ian would not have stopped tweeting. Sounds to me more like there is some form of internal investigation ongoing at City due to him saying it as it is about "altrincham anthony"Got this reply from radio Manchester in response to my email

Not sure if it is relevant....however before the Watford match I saw him outside the ground and his was limping pretty badly !I would suggest that if he was genuinely ill then Eyre and Dearden would have been saying get well soon Ian. He wasn't limping that was Eccles Blue clinging to his leg :)Not sure if it is relevant....however before the Watford match I saw him outside the ground and his was limping pretty badly !

He's been offed by PiGMOL...I said after the game that Lake and Cheesy were unusually pissed off during the match. Reminded me of Fred Eyre for a moment..

Just checked the schedule for the Blue Tuesday Prog. Jimmy Wagg this Tues. (it will be like listening to any other of his progs. saying the same things over and over and guests not getting a word in) and Cheesy due back on the 10th.Let's hope it is nothing more sinister than illness and, if you're reading this Ian, hope you're back with us before too long.
