City fined £35,000 for anti-doping admin error

all media are quoting a 3 strikes rule before charge, all media are wrong... we have only failed to fill in the form correctly once

Apparently, yes.

Admin oversight. Slap on wrist. Pay the fine. Carry on. 29 pages on this? FFS, anyone would think it was a big deal...like a player getting 9 mos for missing a drugs test!!
 
I suspect we've fallen foul of this regulation, the three strikes thing may be inaccurate reporting or misunderstanding of the regulations?

7. Verification of whereabouts information
7.1. On occasion, The FA may send officials to training venues in order to verify in any respect
the accuracy of the whereabouts information submitted by a Club or Player. Such
verification may be conducted separately to or in conjunction with drug testing. Clubs must
provide FA staff attending for this purpose with all necessary assistance to complete this
task satisfactorily. Any inaccuracy of the whereabouts information submitted by a Club or
Player that is discovered in this manner may be treated as a breach of Regulation 14 and/or
Regulation 15, as appropriate.

Isn't it about time for a thread about lassies and asses, or something?! Maybe we can get more funny gifs threads? How about the best looking female athletes in the world? You know, something I can USE!!!

I think its basically the same for the football players:

"the 'whereabouts' system that UK Anti-Doping uses to keep track of the country's 400 or so elite Olympians. Each athlete must specify where they will be for an hour a day, seven days a week, for three months in advance, as well as where they will be training each day." - BBC

So its very hard to actually make this work 100% if you have 100+ players on yer books.

pretty easy to change the times of that weeks training session though which seems to be what we couldn't manage to do (3 times?!?!)

if this was Team Sky...
