You were doing ok till you said Sterling was excellent.....are you sure you went ?

Ha ha, I'll consider downgrading my comment to "Sterling was the best we had on the pitch" but I did think he played well. He was one of the few who looked up for it in the second half.

Game would have been different if we'd have
A) Took our chances
B) Been awarded the penalty for the foul on Sterling.

That said, our lack of fight is currently a huge concern, combined with the lethargy of our slow passing and movements.

This, for every goal today. Not saying he is at fault for all of them, but his effort at diving to get at the ball was shocking. No movement towards the ball.
He goes to dive but it is more of a belly flop on the spot,i don't think he has any spring to compensate for being a midget

I thought it was the best I've ever seen us play there.

Unless you're wumming, that's up there with your assertion that the foul on Gundogan by that Watford lad was "horrific". We had a lot of the ball today (again), but as usual created next to nothing against opposition who knew exactly what to expect and exactly how to deal with it. Two great crosses from KDB was as good as it got

Unfortunately Bravo is also pretty crap with his feet

Not crap, but whatever passes he did today to his nearest defender, I am sure Hart is equally capable of doing that. I'm not convinced of his long range passing ability or maybe he rarely does it.

Even more than that, there were at least four occasions when Stones or Otamendi expected Bravo to be racing from his line and sweeping up the potential danger, yet he was rooted to his line.

Most of the goals he concedes are at his near post or he is stood right on his line.

He has no physical presence as it is, so he's hardly making his goal look smaller by standing under his crossbar.

No wonder his/our shots to save ratio is so bad.

Pep or the players?
We've been told and shown that great managers do fine with whatever is at their disposal, i.e Pellegrini at Málaga and so.
It's Pep, methinks. He's got to re-engineer this shambles, prontissimo.
Or, fuck this season and rebuild from the next.
For me he knows already who he's binning in the summer but needs to ride it out bacayse of CL. If Monaco dump us out in February pep needs to be brave and bomb those not in his plans. No european football for a year if happens won't kill us.

We're too reliant on Aguero to score and he looks out of sorts. Silva, Sterling, Navas aren't going to get us 15 goals a season. Even De Bruyne has gone off the boil. Hopefully Jesus will give us more of a cutting edge from a wide left position

Every title winning team needs at least two prolific scorers or a handful who chip in regularly. Aguero, Dzeko and Yaya were regulars with the likes of GazBaz and The LeedsDipper chipping in regularly, and how many times did any one of those rescue the whole three points. We seem to have full on attacks that peter out to shite all, and in the next twinkle the ball's in our net.

It nearly breaks my heart that we didn't push on after 93-20.

We really did have the opportunity to dominate & create records, legends & a dynasty.

The PL has subsequently changed & the opportunity has probably gone for ever.

We've let the rags off the hook yet again.

It's impossible to pull teams out of position if they don't want to be.

Every goal we concede is on the counter, even in the win against Barca.

Chelsea, Liverpool, Middlesbrough, Everton, they all sit in and wait.

Our passive aggressiveness, trying to switch the play, is food and drink for any team that prepares in the week and knows we will play everything in front of them at a stroll.

Keep Aguero with his back to goal, or let him spin out to the flank, job done.

The biggest slight I can hand Pep at present is that I could pick the tactics which would eradicate half of the issues.

Have the backline go back another ten metres and fuck off Clichy and Bravo.

Any news as whether there are any plans to do this?

Transfer forum has been exceedingly quiet of late...

I keep saying - we need to be patient - wait until Pep gets the squad HE wants. The only question now is - does Pep think we can get top 4? If we can - we keep going with this set of players - if its beyond us - we may as well go with the kids and have a look at them before the summer. We know some of this group are past it. Poor performance but unfortunately we have this in our locker at the moment.

Let's be honest guys, how good, bad or indifferent Bravo is, had nothing to do with our defeat today.

We lost again because yet again we had all the possession but whilst we prioritise possession over attacking threat, we will rarely trouble an organised defence.

And as we push on more and more, we leave ourselves wide open and get caught.

It's the same every week. We only score when we move the ball quickly. Slow possession gets us nothing.
But it does though because there's a huge pattern emerging where we go a goal down to the first shot on target. He's rarely actually being beaten with worldies either, there's usually a debate on whether or not he should have done better on about 80% of the goals and that's quite damming for a supposedly world class keeper.

I think him being in net breeds absolute panic so while he will remain blameless for the technicality of the goal, he is a massive contributor to what's currently going on.

Who do we bring in and please dont say Mancini?
A better manager who understands this league, we're like some Guardiola experiment in my eyes, he's done nothing since day one that impresses me, nothing & his management style is bizarre & will never work in England & while we're at it have a look at where the club has been heading since these 2 clowns from Barcelona rocked up.....down the fucking pan if you hadn't noticed. Get rid of the lot & start again.

Everton didn't find an extra 20% today though, it was City lacking 20%, well in some cases players lacking 100%.
Maybe but generally speaking we see teams going up a level when they play us and I honestly think it is because we are the most beatable top side. Look at Leicester die they brat us. They've been a shower of shit and we managed to be 4-0 down.
