Wot?thank fuck for that.
Is that your conversion on the road to Damascus?
Wot?thank fuck for that.
I don't think you can blame everything on Bravo though. If anything I think we have seen how small the difference between success and failure is when trying to play Pep-football.
We'll win the CL, finish 5th and dump the rags into the Europa.Thoughts if he doesn't finish top 4? I respect the man but if we end up finishing something ridiculous like 6th I'm not sure he deserves an extension? I expect to be castrated for saying that but hey ho
Is the 'H' for 'Holy' or ' Harold'?This thread has really brought some nutters out.
I mean Jesus H Christ.
But the problem is you could say the same thing about the home games against the blue dippers, saints, boro and chavs.Indeed, the biggest difference between West Ham and Everton was that we didn't take our chances and it made our lot unsettled. Lets not forget West Ham missed an open goal, and who knows how they'd have reacted to scoring that as opposed to going 2-0 down seconds later.
If we put away our chances, Everton would have been 3-0 down and thinking about the showers before Lukaku's goal goes in, and our defenders would have been playing with confidence instead of becoming increasingly nervous.
I agree, but having said that I am starting to doubt that Bravo will come good. It would be really nice to have a keeper who would actually make a save every now and and then. I know it is unfair, but at the moment I have the feeling that every bloody shot on target is a goal. If he never makes a save we could also just put a 11th field player in goal.Indeed, the biggest difference between West Ham and Everton was that we didn't take our chances and it made our lot unsettled. We are underachieving.
My 'definitions' are just opinions; like everything else posted on a forum; they are no more relevant or irrelevant than anyone else's.
At the match I support the team; negativity has no place in the stadium (home or away).
On a forum I'm entitled to give an opinion.
My opinions differ from yours - your problem not mine.
My opinions are based on the evidence we are being presented with; yours seem to be based on nothing more than hope and blind faith.

Yep. I dont question the decision to let hart go, but the recruitment of bravo is looking like its not working out at the moment. Apart from the derby, he started well, so hopefully when tue rest of the team play better, his confidence will shoot up. We cannot doubt pep based on one dodgy signing, its ridiculousI understand the decision to replace Hart but I've also started to doubt whether or not Bravo will come good. For all his faults though, I think using the shots/goals ratio against him is a little bit harsh. A lot of the goals we're conceding seem to come as a result of us being completely carved open by the opposition after some extremely sloppy play in our own half. These aren't speculative shots on goal he's having to face, they're golden opportunities handed to our opponents due to the failings of our outfield players. He hasn't particularly impressed me and he doesn't seem commanding enough in the box, but the goals we're letting in aren't all his fault either.
I've been a big supporter of Bravo, and the reasons he's here. For now I still am. But taken in isolation nearly all the goals he's conceded are probably more down to others making mistakes, however I am starting to wonder, as just by the law of averages you would expect one or two saves.I understand the decision to replace Hart but I've also started to doubt whether or not Bravo will come good. Right you are mate. My statements were unfair against Bravo.I understand the decision to replace Hart but I've also started to doubt whether or not Bravo will come good. Going off some people on here we should doubt pep because we are not top of leagueYep. Are we? According to many, including the post-match pundits yesterday, this is likely the level one would expect from our aging squad and we have, if anything, played above it.
I don't disagree, only you seem to think the club should adopt your method of grading the worth of a manager. To make it worse, you're doing so in a thread that actually shows the club heading in completely the opposite direction to you.
That's nice.
And I'm entitled to call out your serial negativity for what it is and suggest maybe you need to do more of the stadium and less of the forum.
I'd say if you really believe your misguided opinions, and your continued predictably negative appearances in every positive thread here suggests you do, that it would indeed be your problem if the club are doubling down on their current course.
What evidence?
That Pep has only been at the club half a season is a fact. That his style of play takes time for players to adapt to, is indisputable (Javier Mascerano said it took him two years, and do we have anyone who is on the level he was on at that time?) That we have an aging core in our squad who are all nearing the end of the line, further enhanced by years of tactical and zonal ineptitude from Pellegrini coaching, is the reality.
All I see from you is moaning, endless fucking moaning. BlueMoan they call it. We are damn privileged to have the best owners in the world who are signing up for us, long term, one of the consensus best coaches in the sport. They deserve our support for this, but no, you won't even give them and him a fucking year. If you can't see how/why you're being ridiculous and completely unreasonable, never mind a killjoy, then I'm done even trying.
What about the same fuck you to the long term fans?
This is at completely the wrong time and without getting into what he did at Barca and Bayern, what's written in a book and what he should be doing, what have I somehow missed in the time he's been here that merits this? Factual answers only please, not blind optimism and God, do I want to be wrong on this.
So far, with the odd exception, the lack of the Emperors' new clothes is what I see.
