I'm not taking the piss here, but can anyone actually remember any top quality saves that Bravo has made for us because I thought about it and genuinely can't remember any.

At a time when other clubs are recouping money spent on transfers we have here yet another £17 million fee we will be lucky to get a penny back.
That is not a criticism of Bravo but one against the club.
 
He's shite, anyone with a pair of eyes can see that.

Hopefully Pep swallows his pride and fucks him off soon.

I`m just hoping that one of two things happen.Pep swallows his pride and realises he`s not good enough in this league or maybe the player himself wants to go back to Spain due to not having settled over here.I hope the latter happens as at least it will save face for both people.Like you I get so frustrated with Bravo,as he just doesn`t instil any sort of confidence with his defenders.
Plenty of good young goalkeepers here in the PL,but it looks as though Harts number is up for us.
Should be a great summer if Pep gets a fucking big war chest !!

He is fucking spot on. You'll get some who will scoff cos it's Carragher saying it but everything he says is correct. Bravo is not exactly making howlers but he is also not saving shots that top goalkeepers would save all day long. He just doesn't save anything. Every player in the league must fancy having a shot against him. If Pep wants to turn things around he can start by dropping Bravo.

Off the top of my head, good save against Suarez ( saved with foot then pushed over bar ), great stop against Llorente, stopped a one on one against Boro, good save down to his left against BMG.

Seriously?

While James was prone to inconsistency,and the occasional gaff (calamity.....),he was also amongst the greatest goalkeepers ive ever witnessed,he made saves very few were capable of.
His opinion is worth listening to,when it comes to expertise between the sticks.
 
He is a bit too short to have a commanding presence. Otherwise I think his shot stopping and catching is good enough.

Fair enough,but I never looked at him as a top keeper to be honest,as for listening to him,I try to ignore what he and other ex City players tend to say about us,and his other pals off BT for that matter

Its not that he does that much wrong, he just isnt making the saves that a top keeper should make now and then that make the difference.

We dont expect Aguero just to score from tap ins. We expect him to score the occassional goal like the one against Burnley. We dont expect Silva & De Bruyne to just keep possession, we expect the odd defense splitting pass from them. Similarly we should be able to expect our keeper to make a few saves from shots that he could be forgiven for letting in. Not necessarily every match, just now and then.
