"Doesn't communicate", "says fuck all" stop making shit up

Joe Hart was always directing his defenders and in constant contact , when you watch the match live , just turn away from the action and look at Bravo there is nothing coming from him . perhaps its a language issue but the back four and keeper do not gel and the goals against column is proof

I have been thinking the same about him at matches, and said so a week or so ago, got shouted down on here by some for giving my opinion.

I generally await till the next morning to allow all the haters, flappers and general angst to settle, you should try it.

My views on Bravo.
Did he have a poor game yesterday? - yes as did most
Is he responsible for that loss? - No, he contributed to the loss as did most
Is he a good keeper and yet to find his feet? - definitely and probably
Does he deserve time to develop with the team learning a new system? - absolutely
Would we be any better off retaining the services of Hart? - can never be proven, but most haters still seem to assert yes
Is he an upgrade on Hart? - IMO yes and will get steadily better with time and a settled team
Are posters who attend matches supporting him and then ripping him up for arse paper on here rather hypocritical? - I'll let you answer that
Do haters make stuff up to try and strengthen their bias? for sure.

I appreciate you and others have already made your mind up about him rightly or wrongly. He will probably play on Sat which says a lot about the confidence, not only pep has in him, but also the coaching staff too.

I have no issue with a differing opinion as that's what makes the world go round, but whilst he is here, he gets my support at the games and on here, when I feel he is being made a scapegoat.

I'm not sure how you can say though that he is the big problem, because surely if you and others can see it, then surely Pep and the coaching staff can also see it, yet they persist in picking him. Is that not the big problem? gen question btw.
I know you are fishing but I'll bite anyway. If pep and his staff can't see he's a big problem then they too are a problem yep. As for not his fault you're right it's not single handedly his fault but he should save all four goals. Watch the keepers performances in the lpool utd game or heaton for Burnley all made more difficult saves. Everything else you wrote there was just wrong I'm afraid. He clearly is not a good keeper and he's had half a season in which to confirm that.

Yes I would back down, but only after a reasonable period of time, which for me is at least a season and by that time, I suspect I wont have to
Behave he's had half a season and been shite. What about his performances will change?

It was though. No point in having a Pep style defence with a keeper who cannot play it. At least with the defence, there are options of players to play that style
But he doesn't make saves!!! He can pass it all he wants but no matter what defence is in front of him at some point he will have to save a shot and he just doesn't!! Are you seriously saying that he will only be a good keeper with a good defence in front of him? That says it all doesn't it in terms of his ability? Hart had the same defence and made saves! Just give it up.

Been watching City for nearly 50 years now and Bravo has, on his performances up to now, been the worst keeper I have seen. He makes the dross I have watched over the years seem almost competent (several haven't been). He seems to have no redeeming qualities at all. He can't save low to his left or right. He can't save high to his left or right. He does not control his box or marsall the defence. His distribution is distinctly average. He spreads panic in an already frail defence. To top it all, he is reckless even when under little pressure. Not even close to a top ten keeper in the PL.

He is a City player and I really want him to do well but he will cost us top four if he carries on playing as he is at the moment.

for a keeper thats menat to be good at passing, hes pretty average at it. majority of his passes are easy ones or put the defence under pressure.

i haven't see bravo make saves anywhere near this level. i know its only a youtube video, but hart really was one of the best keepers - keeping it out of the net. just bring him back now please ;)

Bravo doesn't even look good on youtube..Just highlights of him pulling off saves he should be making with some passes thrown in

No you didn't. You said you can't hear him speak from where you sit, which was in response to @mosssideblue who said he can hear him from where he sits 20 yards away.
I asked if you had something against Pep as you seem to post subtle digs at him even whilst criticising others at the club.

Edit just read your comments re: Pep's ego on the bravo thread!

Hart completed 82.8% of his 29 passes tonight for Torino. His average pass completion % at Torino is 65.5% (last season at City: 52.6%).

Joe Hart conceded two goals for Torino against Milan tonight, but made 6 saves in an impressive performance.

Up your game juliet

If he can get rid of Joe, what does he think of Vincent?

Just a (slight) alternative viewpoint on the goalkeeping conundrum which we currently face.

It seems that if not all of us, then at least an overwhelming majority agree that Bravo isn't the way forward for the club.

But another overwhelming majority (with me so far?) are of the opinion that Hart shouldn't have been replaced and that Pep has got the entire situation wrong.

Whilst I could agree that Hart would probably have conceded less (or rather actually made a few fucking saves) than what Bravo's managed, I don't necessarily disagree with Pep's philosophy regarding the situation.

A possession keeping goalkeeper who's able to use the ball wisely and not panic under pressure, possibly at the cost of being the ultimate shot stopper, wasn't the wrong idea in my opinion, and certainly wasn't a stupid one.

His idea was/is right, his choice (Bravo) was wrong. Ball playing skills aside, your goalkeeper has to be capable of pulling off a few saves, not necessarily 'worldies' but not conceding 16 goals from 20 shots.

So the question is, if his philosophy was to continue but Bravo gets binned, where do we go from here? Who's between the sticks next season who can play that role?

Yaya?
