A last minute goal v Tunisia meant that the first good team we faced was Belgium & we didn't need a result that game.

The next goodish team we played was Croatia tonight & they deservedly beat us. We've had a very easy run of games.

Henderson Young and Dier are never going to be good enough versus the good teams, never mind the top 3 or 4 teams.

Kane and Ali were very poor again tonight but playing alongside Henderson is never going to help.

England need to drop Henderson ,Dier & Young & invest time and patience in long term replacements for Euro & WC 2022.

With no dog in the fight other than wanting City players to do well and remain uninjured, I think you lot should be very proud of this side. There is a lack of flair, glaring at creative MF, but I thought they showed a lot of spirit and resilience for much of the tournament. The draw was lovely and that helped but you can only play what's put in front of you and this has to be a confidence builder for the side. I thought the Sterling substitution was a bit daft today personally but agree the inability to score from open play overall just brings me back to the service problem. Sorry for the loss, but a good run, far better than expected -- overachieving is always better than the alternative.

No mate we haven’t had a better England ‘team’ as results have shown, we’ve had better individuals and that’s why we haven’t even got close before this year.
I’m not daft at all, I watch and see something which hopefully will come to fruition. There’s plenty to improve on but I’m confident we’re moving in the right direction finally.

had to laugh during the France/Belgium semi, Danny Murphy (BBC) in commentary commented that Mousa Dembele, Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld were the reason Spurs had been so successful!!!
