1 start in the league this season, and itll probably finish that way. wonder how that compares to other top talents of past years, even top English talents.

If all factors such as injuries and form of other 8s is taken into account it's simply not good enough and maybe we will pay the price for that.

Next season might be the season we need to rely on foden in some moments in the season. Say we have injuries during the busy Christmas period and Phil needs to start to a game every 3 days for a few weeks. we might really regret that being his first run of starts in the team and look back on this season wishing we'd stuck more minutes into his legs.

This discussion never ends..

Most important thing is, all is good as long as Pep and Phil agree 100% about his development.
And hey, they do! :)

Pep doesn't want to rush and burn a still 18 y-o young man who also has to cope being a young father since January.
We want to have him for a decade and Phil is clever and Blue enough to understand his role he will play for Man City.
Time is playing for Phil, in the meantime he can learn a lot as a member of that squad, and he does get minutes.

Pep has said all that several times, but our young impatient rebels just won't listen.
Never gonna change. It's ok.

The fact being City-home-grown (from Jan 2022) , not like Sancho, is one extra squad spot, that's immense.
Hope we can develop some more.

Any confidence he may have gained after his very good performance against Cardiff will now have been lost. Yes he's had 24 appearances but not enough meaningful minutes. I really hope Pep is serious about giving him more game time next season.

Seemed alright to me...
