I thought he did very well against Cardiff, now he's back to square one again.

Why is that?
I think Foden will probably start getting regular league minutes from next August, but really when any mistake could cost the league title, it's not the time to start him. Wouldn't be surprised to see him come off the bench in some of the last 6 games if things are going well, but not start.
24 appearances the season you turn 18 is not bad at all.
Any confidence he may have gained after his very good performance against Cardiff will now have been lost. Yes he's had 24 appearances but not enough meaningful minutes. I really hope Pep is serious about giving him more game time next season.
Next season we’ll have VAR, and Liverpool will at least get 15 points lessI really dont think he will lose his confidence. His time is coming and I expect we will see a bit more of him this season. I bet he gets a game in the FA Cup final.

Yes, Liverpool is in the title race because the PL doesn’t have it this seasonYou have a lot of confidence in the integrity of VAR then ?
Not as simple as that I'm afraid. ...Yes, Liverpool is in the title race because the PL doesn’t have it this season
