Yes I prefer to be right (not to be "seen as" right - to be right) - everyone professing to have knowledge on the topic should strive to do the same. And I also don't like people misleading other fans or simply telling them what they think they want to hear. So yes I strive to be right - if I say something is FACT, it is because I am totally confident it is true. I am careful to proviso things I don't know to be fact. Why the compulsion to be seen to be right all the time?
Can you at least accept that the only thing you know for a fact is what your sources have told you? You have no way of knowing whether your sources know everything or whether they have simply told you what they want you to hear.
Fwiw, even though I am always suspicious of statements of fact from anybody these days, I think you are probably right, even after all this time, in your assessment of what you have been told. But is there not even a scintilla of thought in your mind that there may be more going on?
Nb: If you reply in a dismissive, obsessive manner, it will only make my question the more relevant :)
Perhaps some others should show more care.
You fundamentally misunderstand what I have been told, by who and from where. A number of contacts with direct understanding of the situation have independently corroborated the situation. There is no concept of coordination or telling me what I want to hear because none of those parties are aware of other conversations I am having. Furthermore, there is nothing I want to hear - if the parties have had the decision for 6 months, so be it. Why do I care. But they simply haven't.
But even if none of the above was true, the actual lead KC told everyone here what the situation was about 10 days ago. You don't need to speculate at that point. And there is no possibility Pannick would lie or mislead. His reply was unequivocal. Just fucking accept it.
Nb: I consider your reply close to trolling but you successfully baited me into a reply. Well done
