PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Ah, but who would the twenty be?
The twenty from each year that the charges reference?
The twenty from the year the charges were filed?
The current twenty, some of whom have had nothing to do with it?

I can't imagine the PL would send a bill/dividend cheque to each club after this has all finished; my guess would be that it's the future clubs that would pay/benefit from whatever happens as the PL can adjust its balance sheets by changing future prize money payouts.

Isn’t there a pretty strong theory that it’ll just drop when it drops and the panel won’t be arsed about when that is?

Yes but likewise an agreed position from the parties can be communicated to the panel and a timing agreed. That is especially so when the decision will go the parties in advance and, I believe, with at least a weekend for the clubs to read it and prepare.

Is that timing agreed within 24 hours? Or 48 hours? Or a week or a month or maybe 1 year?

Come on when they come to a conclusion it will be released within 12/24 hours after they’ve let Man City know and the premier!

Your insights and opinions have, in general, over the months helped us all understand things with a more informed view,
and i realise you get bombarded with endless questions,
but can you explain exactly why you keep insisting and stating you believe the release of the decision can, and as such will likely, be agreed in advance by both parties and what, if any, previous examples of something like our situation give you such conviction, given that there has been nothing at all on this scale previously, and why you persist in assuming it will be during an international break when there seems to be no precedent to qualify your presumption?

Masters himself has already said that there were questions that had to be answered, and that they will be answered. So what if they have been answered, both parties know it, and the delay is simply for the documentation? The PL could say they were compelled to charge in order to guarantee the answers they had failed to achieve via protracted investigations. Both we and the Premier League know a PR job is needed, and 48 hours is the time required to put together an agreement and a joint statement that reflects the award details.
That would be the dream scenario for us if true, and it lines up with all the soft signals. My swingometer has gone fully positive and I’m feeling super confident—although I should probably admit I’m on my third Peroni
