Russian invasion of Ukraine

Witkoff and Kushner have been arranging business deals with russia. This whole thing gets more depressing by the fucking day.
It's always been like the with the us, first thoughts are " what can we gain out of this?" Not " we need to do the right thing here".

Stuff 30/11:

Bad news about Russian drone improvements - but some good news as Russian meat forces tire.
Also, the economy is in serious trouble. Oil sales have slumped - the price has dropped
The volumes being produced are lower and countries aren't buying it in anything like the volume they were.
So...
Russia in the last chance saloon is selling it's gold reserves to pay for the war!

Wasn't going to post it but you mentioned the gold.

Would be a fucking sickener if trump bailed out putin right near the end. I think Merz and Macron are willing to piss trump off and try to transition away.

Food for thought in that no one will question putin for fear of what will happen to them
And is it the same in the USA and trump (although you don't fall out of a sixth floor window. You just get the sack in America)

Under some non-vocal pressure from Republican members of Congress (both houses) and NATO members, Trump backs down - for a few days anyway...
(So far, never more than 14 days to enter a holding pattern to protect Putin and then go again.)

President Zelenskyy said 8 hours ago,
“I spoke with Mark Rutte @SecGenNATO, and we will continue our conversation in the coming days. These are important days, and much can change. We are coordinating closely, and in our efforts – and in the efforts of all our partners – it is our joint measures and shared positions that will be extremely effective. Mark, thank you for your support”
