Not quite sure how Rooney isnt interfering with play when the is in the 6 yard box feet away from the keeper and jumping out of the way of the ball? the keeper didn't move for the ball as he thought Rooney was going to touch it.

We thought that too.

Jumping out of the way at the last second is interfering with play.

The Keeper doesn't know whether he is offside or not and ANY deflection from that range results in a goal.

Therefore the Keeper has to position himself accordingly, hence the sluggish dive.

Just yet another decision that United always get.

of course it was offside but with the big guns out of the cup the fa are desperate to have at least a prem side stay in it to save the comp being a damp squid.

Tonight kids we are going to show you a common misconception with common terms.
A "damp squid" it is not, however a "damp squib" would be a type of firework (the squib) and the dampness is cause from nasty h2o.
Thus you would expect i big show and you get nothing, hence the term "a damp squib".

Next lesson, how to get banned for being a smart twat administered by De Niro :-D

We City fans need to stop being over biased. I want like every other true blue, United to get beaten but that goal (sadly) was good... Just as was Newcastles against us last season.... We got lucky that day.
