Not quite sure how Rooney isnt interfering with play when the is in the 6 yard box feet away from the keeper and jumping out of the way of the ball? the keeper didn't move for the ball as he thought Rooney was going to touch it.

Jumping out of the way at the last second is interfering with play.
The Keeper doesn't know whether he is offside or not and ANY deflection from that range results in a goal.
Therefore the Keeper has to position himself accordingly, hence the sluggish dive.
Just yet another decision that United always get.
