Unlikely I'd have thought, like the email from Sport Options stated on Sunday, given the amount of flights available to Istanbul they were struggling to match the price that you can do it yourself.

I gambled last June and booked Turkish Airlines Mcr to Istanbul the minute the flights came out. Thurs to Sunday prime times - £400 but that allowed a refund minus a small fee. I also gambled last year to Paris on the Eurostar but luckily went for Business Class which was fully refundable...

Doesn't work like that. They don't confirm your flight until you've got a ticket. If you don't get a ticket then you don't go on the club flight.

Totally agree - remember the days of having to go down to get my lad a ticket - total ball ache! Away tickets weren't £30 then so like you said cost a fortune to take your kid to away games but I did and he's now 23 and has over 23,000 points.

There's got to be abit of leeway as what would happen if your flight was delayed after you checked in at the airport and that took you over the 72 hrs? I'm in the same boat and think we'll be fine - like someone else said the UK base it on days not hours.

Yep - so anytime Thursday will be fine as long as its 72 hrs from when you depart Portugal.

Correct but he was referring to what time on Thursday to take a PCR test to cover going to Portugal, getting in the ground and returning to the UK.

That's what I thought too. Should maybe have reduced the points required every hour instead of 2?

Same day Test ANYTIME Thursday will cover you getting back on Sunday pal. To get back into the UK its a negative PCR Test done within the previous 3 days (not 72hrs as is the requirement for Portugal).
