Correct. Although pilots are chronically underpaid compared to train drivers when considering the levels of training, costs of training, and levels of responbsibility when things do go wrong. Esepcially the wages at the budget airlines. Long haul not so much, especially in the middle east...

Sorry to bump this thread. Does anyone know if there is a store at the stadium currently? I know they're demolishing the old store as we speak, so have they replaced this at the stadium with a new store and is it open today? Or is it just the Arndale store these days? Cheers

There’s a regular train service between Stansted and Birmingham New Street where you can then catch onward connections to the North West. It’s a 3+ hour journey though just between Stansted and Birmingham, then your journey to the north on top of that!

Me and my Dad getting a lift at 6am from Saddleworth to Brighouse to catch one of the few trains running! Train to Kings Cross, arriving in London just after 10am, tubes to south London to dump over night bags at my brothers gaff then work our way back north to Wembley via pubs along the way
