    IIkay and Bernardo

I’m leaning towards predicting Gundo staying and Bernie leaving. Now I love them both to death and wish them both stay like everyone else. They both played exceptionally well recently (Gundo’s 2 goals vs Leeds then Everton gave us the league and Bernie’s 2 goals vs Madrid sent us to Istanbul)...

    Joshua Kimmich

Interesting swap idea I have never thought of previously. Kimmich is a good player, and he could fit Pep’s style well. I’m still not convinced he would ever want to leave Bayern though, because I can’t think of anything we could offer him that Bayern couldn’t. Still, I don’t mind it if it...

    Brighton & Hove Albion (A) - Wed 24th May, 20:00 | Pre-Match Thread

I see people putting Ake in their starting lineup predictions. Is there any update on his fitness? I do hope he gets some meaningful play time these last two league matches and ease himself back into action. We need him fit for the two finals.

    80 | Cole Palmer - 2022/23 Performances

Had a good match. Still got a lot to learn and is currently far from the level required for a regular sub, but the lack of play time makes that difficult; sort of a chicken and egg dilemma. I have always been puzzled why he didn't get loaned out for some quality game time.

    8 | Ilkay Gundogan - 2022/23

1+1 seems reasonable and believable enough, hopefully that turns out to be the case.

    14 | Aymeric Laporte - 2022/23 Performances

Mad respect to the lad, but the lack of play time must have been tough for a player of his caliber. I wish him the very best should he decide to leave. Hopefully we will receive a handsome amount too, a defender at his level should be well sought after in many big clubs.

    8 | Ilkay Gundogan - 2022/23

Hopefully he will receive a reasonable contract extension deal; I think he deserves such for his clutch performance near the ends of two seasons in a row. We should also look for potential replacements though, he’s 32 after all.

    Alphonso Davies

I hope this is true and it isn’t just a tactic Davies’ agent uses as leverage in his contract renewal negotiation with Bayern. Could be a great deal to swap. Bayern is losing the league though so I don’t know how much impact it has on this, but maybe it will lead to a bigger shakeup and...
