    Lech 1 Juventus 1

Probably so, I'm just not sure their supporters let'em give up on this game before it starts. Ours wouldn't. ;)

    Dear Lech Poznan fans.

    You're welcome, lads. Cheers. :)

    Lech 1 Juventus 1

We should have won it though. Juve's defense gave us at least three christmas gifts in advance, I'm amazed not one of them was capitalised. They had their chances too, fair enough, but we had more. And the first spot is still to be decided if you don't win in Turin.

    Poznan -12 °C

Yeah right. And polar bears walks along the streets in Poznan. Get a grip man, Poznan is almost the same latitude as Manchester (52"25' vs. 53"48'), it's just the case of more continental kind of climate, that's all. And it doesn't mean it's freezing here all the time. Last year november was on...

    score predictions Group A

Yeah well, how shall I put it. Sorry you didn't consider the possibility that just became reality. :D But relax, I'm sure we both qualify. And it wasn't a great match for Lech, we can do much better. We just had some luck exactly when we needed.

    Already kicked off in Poznan.

ROTFL. Glad we share the sense of humour. But it would probably be a lot less amusing for a couple of Blues in Poznan if someone would be mean enough to copy/paste it to Lech Hooligans forum and no mistake.

    Already kicked off in Poznan.

It's all very amusing and that, why don't you take a copy with you and show it to one of these guys in person? ;)

    tonights match called off???

It's POZnań actually, and it's just official Poznań logo as city council has registered it.

And if you lose and Juve draw/lose, we both are practically qualified. :)

    tonights match called off???

Actually there were some rumours within the local media about possible calling off this match, but not because of weather (such a thing doesn't happen here), but because of the fact, that Police just officially said the ground is not safe enough in case of real trouble. But the final decision is...

    Poznan manager fired

Yeah, that's exactly the case. Everyone knew he's gonna be sacked. Lech fans have even had enough time to organise a protest against hiring Bakero, who'd been a great player once, but who's a shitty manager (fired from another Polish team Polonia Warszawa earlier this year).

    Poznan manager fired

The news is now official, Jacek Zielinski has been sacked, and replaced by Jose Mari Bakero. As to the surprise caused by firing him after such a good game, the whole thing was decided and a foregone conclusion almost two weeks before, they just didn't let it public before closing a deal with...

    CITY IN EUROPE POZNAN AWAY

10 PLN would be a more acurate price I'd say, especially at the Old Town.

    CITY IN EUROPE POZNAN AWAY

Glad you've got a sense of humour, you'll need some. :D

    CITY IN EUROPE POZNAN AWAY

You can check it out here. The problem is - it is not Inter City, it's TLK (which means Cheap Railways, which also explains a lot). The 1 class ticket is a little less than 20 pounds. Due to a route modernisation, there are just a few direct trains from Gdansk to Poznan a day and the trip takes...

    CITY IN EUROPE POZNAN AWAY

Pretty much the same, yeah. Of course you can't avoid people who just can't be persuaded to sing all the time (I wonder why ;) but they are minority. Also we can't forget the fact, that our few latest league performances were unbelievable shit. Yeah, it's a strategy to consider, just don't be...

    CITY IN EUROPE POZNAN AWAY

Depends on what you consider 'good', depends on the operator (there are a few) and so on. Generally the standard is pretty low, but it doesn't mean you can't get from point A to point B in quite decent conditions. Usually. ;) But I wouldn't count on anyone speakin' English at the station though.

    CITY IN EUROPE POZNAN AWAY

What the fcuk did you mean by that? It's a typical Polish city in terms of style of living and I don't see why "almost German" would be an advantage of any kind. Poznan is the capital of Wielkopolska voivodship, one of the most notable historical regions of Poland and is considered especially...

So who's going to poznan then ?

As to the Poznan recommendations, all area of the Old Town is pretty cool, you just hang around and look for the places you like. Loads of pubs and restaurants and so on. And the weather is moderate, I'd say, so far. Today was about ten Celsius degrees, but windy, cloudy and little rainy (not...
