    10 | Jack Grealish - 2023/24

Should have been played centrally a long, long time ago. Pep knows best on many things but I remain to be convinced he will ever know best when it comes to Grealish. He uses Jack as an effective cog to give space and chances to other players, but never allows him to shine himself. He’s...

    10 | Jack Grealish - 2023/24

Doku didn’t do anything different to Grealish to affect the game. The Kev goal was a deflection of a defender. If Pep wanted to play Doku he should have gone onto the right in place of Bernardo.

Real Madrid Champions League q/f 2nd leg (H) | Man of the Match

Jack was exceptional. Should never have come off. If Pep was keen to put Doku on he should have taken Bernardo off. I thought Pep had finished dicking around with Jack. I was wrong.

    10 | Jack Grealish - 2023/24

Should never have been taken off the pitch tonight.

    Real Madrid (H) - Wed 17th April, 20:00 | CL | Pre-Match Thread

Look at the same of the poster. He hates Grealish so much he has never ever listed him in his predicted starting XI. Of course Grealish starts on Weds.

    Luton Town (H) | Sat 13th April, 15:00 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

I think we will see minimal rotation. If Rodri is going to be rested (and he really needs a break) then I don’t think the likes of Grealish will be rested, for example. Pep can’t start taking away 2-3 crucial cogs to the team at one time IMO. It might be Luton but it’s must-win if we’re to...

    47 | Phil Foden - 2023/24

Another utterly brilliant goal. Workrate off the scale again. Really hope his dead leg isn’t serious and he’s right as rain for next week’s second leg at the Etihad. It was reassuring to hear from him directly after the match and Pep making relative light of his knock by saying he was annoyed to...

Real Madrid CL Q/F 1st leg (A) | Man of the Match

Jack for me. Was under-utilised on the left I thought, given the other flank was proving tricky. Absolutely excelled when he did get the ball, getting a Madrid player suspended in the first minute while setting up the Bernardo free kick, teeing up Gvardiol and protecting the ball while working a...

    Real Madrid (A) - Tues 9th April, 20:00 | CL | Pre-Match Thread

Expect Pep to go as strong as possible. Can leave rotation until Luton at home on Saturday. Likes of Rodri, KDB, Foden, Grealish, Bernardo, Stones and Haaland HAVE to start IMO. Can’t see Pep taking too many risks in this one unless injury/illness forces his hand.

    10 | Jack Grealish - 2023/24

    Pathetic comment yet again.

    Real Madrid (A) - Tues 9th April, 20:00 | CL | Pre-Match Thread

Given it’s going to be no more than 12-14C this evening in Madrid we definitely don’t need air con.

No, they think he was the best player in the team. It’s not that difficult.

He does. And he did yesterday. Keep up.

Why do votes for a player who had an excellent match bother you so much?

    Real Madrid (A) - Tues 9th April, 20:00 | CL | Pre-Match Thread

Not really. This time last year he was starting every game. He’s still getting back to full fitness so a couple of 90 mins will have done him good this week. Certainly wouldn’t want Doku starting in place of Jack, we will need Jack’s workrate and defensive capabilities.

    Real Madrid (A) - Tues 9th April, 20:00 | CL | Pre-Match Thread

Anyone omitting Jack is mad. It would be like fielding a starting XI without Rodri he’s that critical to games like this. Have to build the team around: Jack Rodri Phil Kev Bernardo …For me anyway. Akanji was superb today. Think we will see Eddie back in for this as well.

    Crystal Palace (A) - Sat 6th April, 12:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

I don’t disagree, he needs to start midweek. Just expressing my annoyance that Phil was overplayed by Southgate which means rest for him now is imperative. Hopefully we won’t need him second half and he’ll be fresh for Real.

Kev to start and Phil benched apparently. I know Phil has played a lot lately (thanks TwatGate) but nervous at the thought of in-form players being benched.

City Treble documentary | Club sell rights to Netflix for seven figure sum | To be aired in April (p5)

Think a lot of people are forgetting it’s a City Studios production that was ready to be released back in August. They sold it to Netflix to get a bigger reach but Netflix didn’t do anything to it. Not sure why it took so long to release though. In that respect it was only ever going to look...

The same Richard Keys who digs out Jack at every opportunity (see last summer’s Treble parade). Nothing like projecting his many deficiencies onto someone far more talented and popular than he is. Richard Keys is a ****.
