    Little men, big women.

Guy I know from up here is part of a family who won the lottery about 8 years ago.Eight million divided into 3 families and about 13 kids. He has always liked big women, now he is turning into a kind of Franny Lee/Joe Harperesque fella himself in his mid 30's. He regularly travels down to...

    African olympic runner claims asylum

As someone who works in the Benefits sector,I'll give you it from the horses mouth so-to-speak. There are plenty cases of "economic migrants" who initially go to the country of their colonial past, but then the aim is to get here.Plenty Somalians get to Holland and eventually here and then there...

    U.S.A v Scotland in Jacksonville.

Scotland never had a hope in hell of winning the group, Spain were always going to run away with it. 2nd place was all they had a shot at, and even then, man for man, Scotland's squad wasn't as strong as the Czech Rep. Even assuming Scotland managed to overcome a superior Czech side, they'd...

    U.S.A v Scotland in Jacksonville.

Levein should have been sacked after his no strikers nonsense in The Czech Republic. Scotland have a squad who should have qualified if he picked the right players, but Levein's stubborness and the fact the media give him an easy ride didn't help. Once again Avril Lavveen fails to get the...

    Pesky charity workers

Prone to a few cold callers either in person or via the blower.Calls have dried up somewhat though after a double-glazing guy asked for me and her indoors said "sorry he's dead". Probably affected my credit rating though.

Just had my dog put to sleep...

Great thread this as it highlights what are and always will be our best friend. One who doesn't judge and offers unconditional love. I lost both parents within 3 years of each other and then 2 years later my 21 year old collie/labrador rescue dog called Roy.I had to put him down the day before...

    Weird Blackburn rumour?

It's well known in Scottish football circles that my club are run by such individuals. The self same individuals who have banned 40+ people from the ground for various so-called offences.Quite a few teams up here who have been prone to using "laundered money" allegedly of course.

The most expensive piece of clothing you've bought

Ditto. From a shop in Newcastle around 93 I think and if I remember correctly,I paid £70 a pair. The sizing of the old Deakins and the newer versions varies somewhat as does the quality. For me,it was £400 for a winter Armani coat a few years ago.Still in great nick, but getting a wee bit tight...
