    Bolton Wanderers thread 2019/2020

It's a not poor for League 1. Only Sunderland and Pompey had bigger crowds today. Fleetwood brought 250.

    Man City V Bolton (Size)

I wouldn't say Bury were our main local rivals. We've barely played them in the last twenty years. I'd put Blackburn, Burnley and even Wigan before them. The real animosity is reserved for the rare occasions we play Utd though.

My thoughts are this conversation never actually happened.

    Rugby Union World Cup 2019

League seems to be focused on on ball handing, quick passing, try scoring rugby. Union seems to reward kicking and brute strength. I'm sure this question has been asked a million times before but why don't they just combine the best bits from both codes and have one type of rugby?

    Rugby Union World Cup 2019

Why do some rugby players sound like David Brent on steroids? They're like bodybuilders who've swallowed a marketing manual. It's mainly England and Scotland who seem to suffer from this affliction.

    Bolton Wanderers thread 2019/2020

So Bolton don't have to compete with the two Manchester teams for support then? Geography's obviously not your strong point.

    Bolton Wanderers thread 2019/2020

'Fairweather fans'? We're one of the top four best supported teams in the league behind Sunderland, Ipswich...

    Portugal v England Women

How do you know if you don't watch it?
  12. S

    Portugal v England Women

Why not? The BBC have little enough live sport as it is.

    Portugal v England Women

Which makes it all the more ridiculous that the Chelsea women's team manager wanted the goals reduced in size.

    Portugal v England Women

I think you make a valid point to be fair but then perhaps male footballers like Dion Dublin shouldn't really be commenting on women's football either.

F**king up the handover on a 4 x 400m relay takes some doing.

    World Athletics Championships 2019

Looks like we had a bit of a plodder on the first leg of the women's 4 x 400m relay as well.

    World Athletics Championships 2019

Another silver for the men and a new GB record.
