Match of the Day - 2017/18

I agree... Vinnie was a bit lucky in that he could have been given a red. He’s been given red for less in the past. I think the ref was right giving a yellow but was holding my breath after the tackle.

    United thread 2017/18

awww. Don’t say that. Lots of teams could catch City now. Just probably not one coached by a manager who spends hundreds of millions of pounds to get less than 3 shots on goals a game.

For those that saw both live who was better?

During Bell’s time, the pitch was heavier and furrowed. The ball would hold moisture. The tackles were brutish. Touch meant less than speed and power and stamina. Bell had an engine and desire like no other and looked like a racehorse amongst cart horses. Not sure he had Silva’s touch and...

For those that saw both live who was better?

Remember how good Michael Johnson was at first. Thought we had our new Colin Bell. That thought didn’t last very long

    Emigrating Abroad

I've lived all over the world... north of England, midlands, Belgium, London, USA, South Africa, USA, Canada, USA, Mexico, USA... and come to the conclusion that there's good and bad things about everywhere and it's a question of what kind of person is doing the emigrating. If you like...

    Leroy Sane - 2017/18 performances

Sane is fantastic. But so is everyone in the attack. Not a terrible thing to come on fresh against tired legs and score a goal or two. And sane will get his share of starts. Heck, yaya can't even make the bench. Horses for courses.

KDB and Otamendi. Are we predicting goal scorers or who the FA tells the ref to give red cards to on the headset?

The Post Transfer Deadline Day (positive) Thread

We added some world class players at key positions, and I think we gained possibly more by whittling the squad down to players of the right quality and mentality.

We have one of the most negative fan bases in football

One of my favorite City moments, at the City vs Spurs game back a few years ago, where a draw meant we qualified for champions league, and a mate who has been a 20 year season ticket holder came back to a group of us at half time while we were 1-0 up and dominating (and on way to FA Cup...
