i said at the very first game of the season west ham are fucked you don't roll over and at the end laugh with the united players after losing 4.0 it sends out the wrong message now you are in deep shit and moyes style of football is old school long ball and he is the master of it even jose at united picked up on and using it today

west ham was always a football club the style of the game was first and send the fans home happy with knowing you was getting a good value for money yes its not always a winning way but playing football on the grass is the right way in trying to win games moyes will kick the shit out of west ham players if they ever think about pass in out from the back

Bilic and Zola both tried playing football the ‘right and entertaining way’ , despite having better squads they produced far worse than anything I saw under Allardyce, give me a close knit team giving 100% rather than trying to make us play ‘the West Ham way’ all out attack and being utilly humiliated week in week out.
The game has changed, We can’t compete with billionaire clubs trying to play pretty football. Simple as that.

Plenty of teams have played good football over the past few years and done better than West Ham. Swansea, Southampton, Bournemouth, have had decent seasons playing attractive football, however if West Brom , Stoke type survival football is preferable Moyes is your man, but maybe without the survival bit.

I think you can. West Ham are a huge club with that stadium and fan base. No reason you could not attract huge sponsors and a great manager. You will be a top 8 club within the next 5 years. Too big not to be. This is just a blip.

A top 8 club within 5 years? Fucking hell. They should be doing that now!

Have a look at the league. Top 6 will break away this season, but any team below that is capable of finishing 7th, it's like a separate league and it's winnable.

I don't agree with bluehammer. Plenty of teams play the game correctly in the prem and have done just fine. You have some very good attacking players.

A disaster for the hammers to get Moyes. His so called success at Everton is another media myth. He underperformed there. I have a good mate who was a Goodison season ticket holder who hates Moyes and said his football was dire. During Moyes time there he never won a trophy and reached only one final. He lowered expectations by calling Everton "the people's club."
Teams that reached major finals or won trophies while Moyes was at Everton include: Blackburn, Swansea, Wigan, Milwall, Cardiff, Birmingham, Portsmouth, Middlesborough, Villa, Bradford, Sunderland, Southampton, Bolton, Stoke, Hull. All much smaller clubs than Everton. He is a serial failure. Getting Everton to sixth or seventh position each season is not success. The sycophantic media coverage of Moyes is an insult to intelligent football fans. I fear for West Ham.
