    Liverpool thread 2020/21

There’s half a dozen Liverpool in the pub. They kept silent on the Mane challenge and called offside for the Arsenal goal. Not a Scouser amongst them.

Property advice for first time buyer

I’m cash buying but what are mortgage lenders offering now? 3.5 times your salary? I would live in Manchester again but I’m just not finding value. I liked Failsworth loads. On the Oldham Road corridor plus the tram.

Leicester City (H) Post Match Thread

How they recover is important. We need to batter the next team. Another defeat unthinkable.

I had to apply for a visa for Azerbaijan and had to confirm I’d not been to Armenia.

    Depression

There’s no such thing as normal. We’re all ourselves. Unique. Embrace it.

    Depression

I suffer from it. I’d say diagnosis, counselling and medication are my stages. I also try to relax as much as I can. I like to sleep so 14 hours a day was gold. It will get better.

How can I find out if someone died?

I drink there to the day. Nobody knows. Mick suddenly disappeared. I imagine he's been locked up for his own good but it'd be nicer to know. The house sale concerns me more than anything.

    Holiday advice

I was due in Rome for Italy v Wales in the Euros. Italy has been on the list for years and years. Ryanair are swines. Return to Berlin was £50 but add in paid for hand luggage plus getting to a shitty airport and the fare has almost trebled. I've paid a bit extra for BA from Heathrow and back...

Full English breakfast near Piccadilly station.

The service wasn't all that. She was a bit rude too. I used to use Antonio's Cafe when I'd come up to matches at Maine Road from my old stomping grounds of South Wales and Hereford. Straight out of Piccadilly Station and in to the greasy spoon for a good feed. I'd then go to HMV on Market Street...

How can I find out if someone died?

I do. It's not the most common name so I should be ok. I can loosely predict the years too. There's about two or three years in which it may have happened. He'd lived in the area his whole life. People don't suddenly disappear.

How can I find out if someone died?

As it says. There must be a way. There was a man called Mick who used to drink in my old local in East London. He’d had problems over the years that resulted in a nervous breakdown and he still suffered. I warmed to him as he was the first person to befriend me. I had heard he’d attempted...

The idolisation people have given Doherty over the years is sickening. He’s a heroin addict, convicted thief...

I tend to annihilate bacon under the grill having cut any excess fat off it and have it in a sandwich with unbuttered bread. Ketchup too. Very little a bacon sandwich won’t cheer. That Leo’s was ok. I just wanted an eat in place for my favourite Mancunian delicacy.

Know it. I imagine you’re a Full English man. Brown sauce. Am I right? Am I? I use a chippy on Oldham Street for pie, chips, peas and gravy too. Eat in place. Leo’s?

    House buying help

We’re two and a half months in and it’s still not done. There’s a land registry issue now for an extension. Building control are looking at it. Just a hitch hopefully.

No idea, mate. An old friend introduced me to it. I was up early doors for a home match and we went there for breakfast. Used it ever since.
