I notice there were a few missing names on the team sheet. Jade Katongo, Alfa-Ruprecht, Nico O'Reilly, Ezra Carrington, Matty Whittingham, & Emilio Lawrence. The last 3 names missed the back end of last season thru injury. I'm wondering if they are carrying those injuries into the current season.

Not jumping for joy about this one. I could be entirely wrong but he strikes me as one of those supremely talented players who is a bit flaky & only turns it on when he feels like it & under certain conditions. A bit hit & miss.

Exactly. During the 90 minutes Bayern absolutely battered them. I seem to remember Bayern hitting post or crossbar a couple of times & Schmeical keeping the score down. Before the game went into extra time Bayern should have been out of sight.

I think next year's scholars will come from most of those who played in the U16 Cup final recently. Matty Henderson-Hall, Rhys Thomas, Stephen Mfuni, Kian Noble, Femi Fapetu, Brooklyn Nfunku, Jack & Tyler Fletcher, Daniel Batty, Christian Dunbar-Macdonald. Can't remember the goalies name.

It's important Joel Ndala is fit & available. He went off injured at HT in the penultimate game against Sunderland & wasn't involved in the last game. It looks like we will already be without Wittingham, Katongo & Lawrence.

The Liverpool team must have fluked it to the final as well as we were head & shoulders better than them & we should have been out of sight before they got their equaliser. I was impressed by all the team apart from the wingers.
