The BBC | Tim Davie resigns as Director General over Trump documentary edit (p 187)

Martine Croxall would probably disagree. Although I take the argument her decision to change the word to "women", and her body language didn't help, it's still ridiculous.

In what context? Do you mean the male brothel/ rent boy thing?

The BBC | Tim Davie resigns as Director General over Trump documentary edit (p 187)

I don't doubt there's a lot of internal politics going on. I also don't doubt that much of MSM is having to adapt to a very fast changing world of communication. What I don't like though is the BBC seemingly sinking downwards to go with the flow. Edit.... probably should have said...

Epstein / Andrew Mountbatten Windsor / Maxwell

To be fair I think he was probably much maligned. Easy to do when someone dies young.

No. Is that going to piss me off too? :-(

The BBC | Tim Davie resigns as Director General over Trump documentary edit (p 187)

The BBC is our national broadcaster. And, as such, should be on a different level.

The BBC | Tim Davie resigns as Director General over Trump documentary edit (p 187)

I love the BBC for the institution it has been and for the coverage it has given us over the years. I also think the license fee is incredible value for such events. However, this latest shit is bloody scandalous.

Never thought I'd see that kind of behaviour from the BBC.

Liverpool (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Doku was immense today. Really pleased for him. Some absolutely silky smooth passing and link up play from the rest of our team too. 10/10.

General / Mental Health Support Thread

It certainly is. A close relation of mine (who suffers from lots of mental health issues) has recently started engaging with Stubbylee Country Park, as a volunteer, near where he lives in the Rossendale Valley. Early days yet but it seems to allow him to focus on peace, quiet and nature. He...

It's a big problem. I work in the public sector and a staff meeting has been recently arranged regarding awareness of its use by our customers.

Huntingdon Train Incident - Reports of multiple stabbings

Yes, apologies. I should have clarified; I wasn't having a go (far from it) at how long it took for the train to be stopped, merely the hell those passengers and train staff must have gone through in those 5 minutes. I was knifed several times many years ago. It was an horrendous experience and...

Huntingdon Train Incident - Reports of multiple stabbings

It was 5 minutes after the attack was first reported that the train was able to stop. 5 minutes of absolute hell no doubt. Those poor people

Never suspected Charles could be that decisive to be honest. Which makes me wonder if William has put pressure on.

Epstein / Andrew Mountbatten Windsor / Maxwell

Andrew is an odious individual and his ex wife is a grifting money chasing shithead. And they always have been. But what I want to know is how they are getting all the flak when there's surely many more involved. Why are we hearing nothing on them??
