Tévez, who must now carry the tag of being the most expensive player in the Premier League
MUST,good find though.
I believe we sold elano for a loaf of bread.

What a load of rubbish he doesn't even give a single insight into where he may have gotten these figures from. Even if this does turn out to be true its terrible journalism purely designed to stir up controversy and sell papers.

His guess: 47million

My guess: complete and utter bollocks!!

Edit: Only just noticed its the times, would expect better from them

Re: £47 million: the bill for Carlos Tevez

I'd pay twice that to see that bacon faced arrogant tw4t sqirm on derby day.

It's just another way of helping us to attract further class players, by buying certain players that bigger names wanted. It's a team to change the face of City into a world name and being ruthlessly honest it's the only real way of doing it.

It's not 47 million for Tevez, it's a 47 million pound investment to help gain some foothold to break this English and world football old regime.

Money well spent.

Re: £47 million: the bill for Carlos Tevez

Like most things on transfer matters I take it all with a pinch of salt. However, for me, a telling comment was ...........

"The Times understands that it is paid to two offshore companies but Kia Joorabchian, the businessman who fronts the consortium that owned the rights to Tévez until City bought the player outright in July, has never explained who the beneficiaries are."

"The Times understands" is newspaper speak and is not used lightly

What about Rooney, Ferdinand, Berbaflop any mention of them?

Didn't think so.
