Telegraph: Sterling, De Bruyne, Pogba, Alderweireld, Barkley, Ings and Jay Rodriguez are all among possible City targets this summer.

the first 3 are great, the 4th will block denayor, Barkley for cheap (15-20m) I could stomach, the rest I'd prefer if we avoided

Unfortunately because of the HG rule we will have to bring in quite a few English players, even with Lopes and Denayer coming in.

I don't see us going for Rodriguez because it would be too risk having been out for a season, Ings will go elsewhere in my opinion.

I think Barkley and Sterling we will go for.

yeah but for HG we should look at players who we actually need. Sterling is a great start, I'd add Clyne too and would be massively disappointed if united get him.

Sterling and Barkley would be good options even though the latter would need to rapidly improve to make our team, Clyne I agree with and also I like Schneiderlin as a replacement for Fernando.

The player I want most is Pogba. If we got Koke too, then that would be a midfield pairing to cream yourself over.

Bale is the player I want the most. Lightning pace, amazing at free kicks and corners, runs at players, can cross the ball and has a hell of a left foot. All things missing from our team in one player.

Cannot see us signing Sterling. Liverpool would have to be in a pretty desperate situation to sell to us. I have no doubts he may well be a target and I'd love us to sign him but it's very unlikely. Bale is probably even more realistic than Sterling.
