£50m bid

Midfield does need attention and £50m is realistic valuation but the only downside in signing Pogba is his agent.

So,according to Danamy,while being a target......Sterling isn't the 50m man.

He might well be the "£50m" man and the player who's Tolmie's source was referring to but he isn't our No1 target.

The reason i know that is because he'd cost more if we manage to pull it off

Cannot see us signing Sterling. Liverpool would have to be in a pretty desperate situation to sell to us. I have no doubts he may well be a target and I'd love us to sign him but it's very unlikely. Bale is probably even more realistic than Sterling.

Very limited to what HG players would improve our squad to be honest and it's something that'll need addressing

Not sure how I would feel if we spent over £50 million on a 20 year old.

The Liverpool owners follow a Moneyball approach don't they?

If they see Sterling not willing to sign a contract and is holding the club for more money and then a 50m offer came in from us for a player that cost them around 500 grand I think they may just consider, Rodgers won't have any of it but I reckon those owners will.

They will see that they have Ibe to replace him as well.

Schneiderlin, Ramsey, Barkley and Henderson are the obvious candidates to come in to our midfield, an area in which we have been losing important games this season. Signing 2 or even 3 of them would rejuvenate that area of the pitch. Will Hughes is another who'd be worth investing in with a view to gradual integration; he's a proper footballer who can keep a ball moving on the floor.

Stones and Clyne would make sense at the back, while either Bale or Sterling would add some desperately required mobility in attack. Signing one of them plus Pedro would give us the option of a proper 4-3-3/4-2-3-1.

One for the future, but Zach Clough has made a big impact at Bolton; signing him and loaning him back there for a few seasons wouldn't be a bad move, he looks sharp and can definitely finish.

He is nowhere near good enough for us, I honestly can't understand why people think he is.

Home grown players - Sterling must be a possibility if he's deliberating over his conntract, I like Clyne and think we need to look for a long term replacement for Zaba. Couple of Arse English players not playing tht would make good additions - Walcott and Wishere.

The key will be getting the midfielders at least 1 of Pogba, Koke would be great.

I think we'll lose Jovetic, Dzeko so one striker at least will be required

I'd keep yaya as long as he doesn't expect to play every week

I'd like to see some youngsters get more game time when we are winning next season. Sometimes they surprise you and step up - also adds value if selling them on.
