£56 for home games

Let's get this right. prices start from £43

Band name Adult Price
CORNERS £56
EL2 A £56
EL2 B £56
EL2 C £56
WL2 A £56
WL2 B £56
WL2 C £56
SL2 £51
SL1 £49
EL1 & WL1 A £52
EL1 & WL1 B £52
EL1 & WL1 C £52
EL1 & WL1 D £52
EL3 & WL3 A £51
EL3 & WL3 B £51
EL3 & WL3 C £51
NL2 £45
NL1 £43

It's expensive but there are only a few thousand seats available on a match day basis and plenty will want to watch players like Silva, Mario Balotelli and Tevez. These are the superstars of football.

I hope those who can't get tickets come for the European and Cup games

I expect hundreds of said it before me, but we need a new stadium.

No we don't.

We need to expand but to start all over again? No thanks.

Not to be a twat but how many people who complain have expensive phone contracts, like to drink a lot, smoke, drive to places where they can walk, and so on? These are not all essentials in life. I've found that with a little thought and effort I can afford my season ticket and travel costs comfortably while earning very modest money. Of course it's a lot different if you have kids which I don't as they eat through your money but my point is I think there are always luxuries that can be cut down on if you really want to watch City. I don't drink, smoke, buy DVDs/CDs, and walk or use the bus, and am comfortable even in this economy.

I do agree ticket prices are too high now though but look at our own club for part of the blame... the wages City (and the rest of the big boys) pay players are absolutely obscene, when I see a player like De Jong refusing to sign a new contract because City will only pay something like £85,000/week compared to the £100,000/week he wants it really is sickening. We idolise them because they entertain us but they live in a bubble where they fight clubs over a matter of thousands when they earn more in a week then most of us do in two years. And the higher these wages go, the greater the money leaving the club is which needs to be made back.
It's a good post, and I agree with it. I don't smoke, barely ( and I mean barely, as in a pint on a night out which is maybe once or twice a week) drink, I live out in the sticks so the car is essential to me with no public transport available (hence the one pint on a night out. Driving, see?). I don't buy CDs any more (no need to, ditto DVDs), don't go to the cinema. I live a fairly frugal lifestyle really, apart from the gambling and the prostitutes!

the biggest disgrace about the price is it gains very little income

take away the 36k s/cards the 4/5k away fans that means your fleecing about 7/8k city fans

2,800 the away allocation is, they also get charged the same as the City fans. Don't really know what people expected though, we are being forced to increase income levels with the FFP. This is just one way of doing it.

Yep , that's what it boils down to .......

fuckin' Platini!

Don't mind how it's done as long as it happens. This is the only reassurance against what's happened at Malaga. We have a one off opportunity to transform City from being a big club to one of the elite clubs who are not reliant on owners

This is most probably down to financial fair play rules. I think it's a major piss take that if somebody wants to come and put their own money into a club, even if not making a profit they aren't allowed anymore. It's bullshit, and it's the fans that have to pay. I used to love the fact that City had affordable prices to watch world class football but looks like we have gone down that Chelsea, Arsenal etc road. Like I said before the club probably wouldnt have done this if it wasn't for FFP.

Unfortunately I have found that the more I earn the less I can go. This being down to a grown up daughter requiring free childcare and also weekend working on a regular basis.

I do think though that the price rises are steep in terms of what they actually raise for the Club. Did somebody say earlier as little as 3.5M to the Club yet it will impact on thousand of loyal supporters who went through thin and thin.

It will be less League Games and more Cup Games for me from now on.

If i didn't have a seasoncard there's no way i'd pay over £35 for a game against Southampton

hopefully people will refuse to be ripped off and the sight of thousands of empty seats every game will force the club to stop taking the piss
