Re: Álvaro Negredo Sánchez (part two)

del nido has said there is a lot of money to negotiate, which is the second most important transfer in the history of Seville and there are many fringe to negotiate, it takes time, if not done today, will be tomorrow, if not in a few days and said that negredo is get in on the plane for South American tour if not there are transfer

Re: Álvaro Negredo Sánchez (part two)

If these comments are actually borne out, it's a decent outcome.

As of late last night, we had missed out on him due to last minute haggling over a bonus due to the player from Seville.

It would seem we have had to dig deeper than expected.

Begiristain is travelling to meet up with the rest of the squad so the next time we see our two new signings could actually be in South Africa.

I thought you said what you said to get a good price at the bookies ;)

Re: Álvaro Negredo Sánchez (part two)

To be honest at the price it could end up, we should have had Kondogbia too, but we're City and unless we spot a player early there's no such thing as a normal fee. Negredo could be a quality signing for us, I think he has a chance of pushing Dzeko out of the team (if we play a target man regularly) as he's more physical in the box and, based on the last two seasons, a slightly more clinical striker (slightly as in he needs 0.7 shots less to score a goal).

Del Nido: "After Alves, is the operation (Negredo) most important of history"

Alves went for 23m Euros. So we have paid less than that he seems to be saying.

SSN reporting it as £34m + 23m in Bonuses.

Navas was roughly 17.5m euros

So negredo's price is somewhere between 17.5m and 23m euros (£14.9m and 19.9m).

A slight problem with Kondogbia is that he is 3rd party owned so he couldn't of been included with the Negredo deal. Still the Negredo fee is probably performance related so it is not as steep as first looks.
