Former Inter boss Mancini also revealed that he had Napoli striker Edinson Cavani lined up as a priority signing during the summer transfer window.

"If I had stayed at City, I would have done everything to sign Cavani," he added. "We were close to him. He's an extraordinary player. Also Fernandinho is my choice."

Doesn't help. The players hated him. Mancini's plan B was to throw money at the problem. He's a legend but and I love him but good riddance anyway

On there 4.00pm update on TV, it was some other bloke not Swanson.

They said according to their ''Sources'' and then he added that according to Negredo's ''friend'' the deal is done, as already been stated on here who knows who their sources are but they then added his friend into the mix.

Why is Negredo a superior option to Higuain?

who has suggested that he is superior to Higuain?

2 factors i would consider personally is that Higuain is very advanced with arsenal and is decided on going there or city have looked at him but doesn't fit into what they are trying to build squad wise this season.
