I think this deal's getting closer. AS reporting Seville have tired of waiting for At Madrid and spoke to City yesterday. Figures still being thrashed out but it says that Txiki acting because Pellegrini has specifically requested the player. Get the feeling that this may happen sooner rather than later.

Posted article as not only saves time but the highlighted bit shows how fucked up the Isco move was. Isco went back on his word, nice touch to his footballing father aye?

The future of Alvaro Negredo again approaches Manchester . Tired of waiting Sevilla Atletico Madrid, José María del Nido and his aides decided to resume talks with Txiki Begiristain , you want to close the deal soon with Sevilla. If realized it would not be the first transfer between teams in recent weeks, since before the Confederations Cup closed the deal by Jesus Navas .

Sources confirmed the two clubs AS the progress of negotiations, aside Atletico, who believed to have linked to Madrid attacker. From the figures year contract and little more is known, pending the City emissaries both as responsible for Sevilla return to maintain contact to go clarifying these positions. The idea would be that Negredo signing for four seasons , on the express request of Pellegrini who went on holiday knowing that Isco had an agreement with them and came back seeing the Malaga player signed for Real Madrid.

I'd love it if we get this guy in. He looks to be in the mold of Bojinov a left footer with plenty of power about him who knows where the net is. He looks a good foil for Sergio.

Unless they're name dropping and we get used as a lever? ....wouldn't be the first time!

I am confident we will definitely get this lad. He is an absolute bargain at his price of 18m euro. Hope we chance our arm about Kondogbia whilst we are there too. We could buy and leave him on loan there for another season. Would certainly interest them and the player.

Danamy on the Bale thread mentioned that we need a striker/finisher which he says "will come soon enough" so I presume he means Negredo and this is happening.

I think you're right - we need a out and out goalscorer who won't mess about when it comes to pulling the trigger.

If true that we backed off because of the agents fee requested by his father could you really blame that on isco himself?
