For all I want Negredo to succeed this is the first summer capture I am unsure of if it happens. Negredo is behind Torres for Spain even after his awful form. When i have seen him he appears to lack great pace or excellent technique. This might be the fact I havnt seen enough of him on La Liga. Cavanni etc appear to be of a different level! If we are not signing a Cavanni etc my preference would have been to have signed a Benteke or similar proven in prem for a season and could potentially be World class.

Painful seeing people talk him up now we're linked with him. I guarantee these same people wouldn't have been happy if we were told we were gonna sign 2 Sevilla players this summer.

I take your point, however people that know about him (and I am not one of them) rate him, and hopefully MP rates him, I also think that many people are glad we are not going for mega signings, but building upon the foundations that have been laid before, a lot of the hard work has been done

Better left foot, better technique, better first touch and better in the air. But I also think that Mancini handled Dzeko in a horrible way, and if he stays we might get a chance to see why he was the most wanted striker in Europe 3 years ago..

Firstly, he's scored 2 goals in 17 European games. For a team trying to win the Champions league that doesn't seem good.

Secondly for 20m pounds how many goals should he score in his first season to not be a flop?
