Looks like quite a few on here have decided Sheikh Mansour has settled for second best seeing as we have 'only' signed Navas, Ferdandinho and now possibly Negredo. The days of throwing money at players is over and from now on the building of the club into a world force will be measured, sustainable and with the medium to long term taking priority over short term fixes.

I think all sceptics should realize this is the man our new manager wants, I'm sure he's qualified enough to make an accurate assessment of Negredo's capacity and potential.

This, we have just employed one of the most respected and sought after managers in world football, I think he just may have a little idea of what he's doing

Apparently some people seem to think that the ideal man for the job is someone who throws around the most cash, in which case we might as well get mark hughes back.

what ever way you wanna dress it up we have lost world class players and doing it on the cheap to replace him. If it comes off fair play I hold my hands up but it stinks of taking the cheap option I hope I am wrong on this one.

People absolutely kidding themselves if they're in any way excited about this deal. Our strike force wasn't good enough at the start of last season. Since then we've sold 2 players who are vastly superior to Negredo. Thought we would of learnt our lesson last summer.

Why don't we just let the Boss have the tools he wants to do the job and then judge?

I like this position. I'm with you on that.

In all my years of supporting City I've never seen a reaction like this

Jaw dropping

I'm so fucking glad that I go to the game with level headed blues who like me..have seen the shite we have fielded over the years and can laugh about it

Some of you cnuts are an absolute disgrace

Willing to give the guy a chance. Pellegrini knows him and for that reason I'm behind it.

Navas, Negredo and Fernandinho for £65m? Hardly cheap....

scored a goal every other game for Sevilla, he is bargain for £20 mil and has a sweet left foot. i think we might also have enough left for another attacking midfielder on the left, and defective cover now.
