“City Matters” fan committee

City catering news for this season
• A new F3 Stadium manager has been appointed
• 24 additional terminals to be installed on L3 which will be capable of an extra 2000 transactions
• 5 Mobile beer carts to be trialled which will serve approx. 500 extra people.
• 6 Beerjet multi-pourers to be installed. All on L1 (2 in the South Stand)
• New and improved three-tiered training programme for all staff. Better uniforms provided and trouser/shoe rules relaxed as an attempt to retain staff
• Bonuses paid to staff who serve the most customers
F3 have been required to improve size/quality and hold price OR cut price of ALL food items. All food items will be bigger and higher quality next season and prices will be held. (E.g. burgers increased from 4oz to 6oz. Pies increased from 275g to 300g)
• Draught Heineken to be reduced by 50p per pint. All other beer prices frozen
Within 5 home games, single use plastic pint pots will be replaced with reusable, washable plastic beer cups saving 2.4 tonnes of plastic going to landfill each year
Good

Very good

Is this on the OS Adam?
This is all new stuff. I'm not sure what/how everything will be formally announced. But there is a new catering manger in place this year and he is keen to do right by the fans. Please send any ideas (constructive ideas!) to any of the CM reps on the webite.
Everything is up for debate: catering, ticketing, whatever people ask for...

Alert

Don't send anything to the reps or everything that's come down will go back up
There not here to help, they are undercover agents ,sent in from the swamp to destabilise the masses

Thanks very much Adam. That’s helpful to know.

I like the catering developments and it’s important for fans to give City Matters time to deliver.

I really like the elimination of single use plastic. Well done if that has been pushed through City Matters.
Reduction in beer price is v welcome too.

The club is really keen to improve here. There will hopefully be more announcements on going to post-mix soft drinks and reducing bottled beer too, to further reduce the amount of plastic. But they can't get rid of all the bottles until/unless the draught service is sufficient

The only thing City matters has delivered

You will find they have delivered themselves a nice little ring fence for away ticket allocation.

Nothing they do from here on in will impress me whilst them same reps are involved .
It’s not like they have fought tooth and nail for this catering ..I’d suspect it’s something the club was already looking into as they have brought in a new catering manager. would be something the club was prepared to do with or without CM,.
