City Matters do what they can and for me do a decent job and I blame the club hierarchy for putting this lad in a tricky position. With hindsight i'm sure he would tell them to fuck off next time but he doesn't deserve a pile on.
People like him and Colin give a great deal of time to try and better the situation for fans, most of whom would run a fucking mile from the responsibility.

Our owners are what our owners are. 98% fantastic 2% shite. I will mark this episode down in the 2% category and move on.

Some on here need to get over themselves. We need to look after our own behaviour, The Dippers are responsible for theirs. Two wrongs don't make a right so lets continue to take the moral high ground.

It’s not a witch hunt pal, but our fanbase has been completely sold down the river, by someone who is supposed to be in place to look after its best interests. I can’t think of many off the field issues that go against the feelings of the supporters more than this. But to be fair I couldn’t give a fuck about City Matters, only about City.

I agree, I’m as angry about the situation as you, it’s done my bloody head in! It stinks of collusion from the money men, whether that’s City Liverpool the PL or even sponsors/affiliates, who all stand to lose with any bad publicity. Probably best to leave the finger pointing till it all comes out in the wash and focus our energies into Thursday night
 
My biggest gripe, maybe my only gripe really, is that that email should only have been sent to our fans and Liverpool FC should have sent their own fans an email.
There are LFC fans saying similar as well.

I don’t hate Liverpool fans, I don’t hate anyone to be fair but I dislike the disruptive element of their fan base much as I get irritated by the disruptive element of ours as well.
I don’t want football to be whitewashed and no atmosphere. I found it interesting that the WC had alcohol in the ground banned and I didn’t see any reports of bad behaviour but there was still terrific support and atmosphere. But that’s a totally different debate. Sorry. :-)
